The Crazy Horse Ranch offers private natural horsemanship horseback riding...

The Crazy Horse Ranch offers private natural horsemanship horseback riding tours, lessons and clinics. This is not the typical nose-to-tail ride - our tours are fun and educational amid breathtaking desert scenery. This is a true equine experience. We also offer a beautiful venue for kids' camps, parties, barbecues, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and more.

Drove to this well-advertised establishment down a rocky, dirt road to an abandoned looking ranch closed off. When you look it up is shows open and has tons of good reviews. Traveler beware! Don't waste your trip!!

I was en route trom LA to Vegas and wanted a little stop over to go riding and see some of the country. Stayed in a little airbnb in Morongo Valley and joined Jackyln for a two hour ride. Jacklyn is a lovely no nonsense person, a very good rider, with a deep knowledge and regard for horses. I didn't... More

I love this place, its so pretty and clean. The horse seems so peaceful and Jacklyn though me a other way to ride horses. Amazing experience, I recommend it and will go back for sure

I was extremely disappointed with my experience or rather, my non experience with Crazy Horse Ranch. I should have known from the get-go that this was a bad idea, but my girlfriend was really looking forward to a desert horseback ride. First issue was trying to make contact with her (Jacklyn), she will not return your phone call, but prefers... More

Terrific time had by all of us. We had a smile on our faces from the time we stepped onto Jackie's Ranch. Beautiful and well cared for horses, dogs, puppies, goats and chickens. My daughter was in heaven. Jackies showed us the ropes, explained all we needed to know and then took us on a terrific ride. Highly recommend to... More

My friend and I booked a ride at Crazy Horse and didn't know what to expect. Every other time I've gone on a trail ride at a ranch it's been a factory of tourists and sad horses. This was so much different. Jacklyn's passion for her animals (many of them rescues) ripples through her whole business. She practices and teaches... More

Jacklyn was very welcoming and made sure we felt right at home the moment we stepped into the farm. Her love for animals is contagious and her stories about her story alongside life experiences quite fun to listen to. The room is comfortable and private, great if you want to relax and take time off. Thanks again, we will be... More

We had the most enjoyable experience at Crazy Hore Ranch! It was our first family ride ever and what a unique way to visit the desert! Jacklyn's horses were calm and gentle ; just perfect for our three young children! Jacklyn was a very patient guide and her approach to riding and her care for horses are inspiring! We strongly... The guided tour was interesting as was the method of moving the horses (natural method). The "ride" was fine as long as you don't mind the animals only walking. The horses seemed to stumble constantly in the dessert as well.
