Limits on Ling Cod and Rock Fish. Captain and deck hand Troy were very helpful. Caught bait fish first, then went after Ling, then Rock Fish. Came back in early because we limited. buy or rent everything you need; just bring lunch, drinks and layered...More
Amazing!- our family (children 9 & 13) went with Chris and the team. We saw humpbacks having a feast as well as sea lions. We saw a sun fish and sea otters. The team seemed really knowledgeable and the boat was not too busy so...More
The boat was small compared to others in the area which was a bonus as it felt more personal. The skipper was really informative and ensured we had the best view of the feeding Whales and sealions without stressing the animals. A great way to...More
This was our first time whale watching (myself, my husband, and kids ages 14, 12, 9, and 1). We saw a bunch of whales, which was awesome and beautiful. But the boat was incredibly rocky(!), which made it very difficult for myself and my kids...More

We chose Chris' Whale Watching because of the reviews on TripAdvisor and we weren't disappointed! Have been on a whale watching tour in So Cal and saw dolphins and sea lions, but no whales, so were very disappointed, but with Chris' tour we were delighted....More
We had an amazing experience on Chris’s Whale Watching boat. We lost count of the number of whales that we saw. The crew were so knowledgeable and were genuinely thrilled with what was going on around them

We were just there yesterday (8/27). The boat leaves from the main wharf/pier and there is no elevator from the top/main area down to the next level where you get onto the boat. The only way down that we saw was to use the stairs. Don't know if other companies have anything different; we don't recall seeing any elevators because it is an open pier right over the water. Hope this helps..

If the boat is full then there isn't much room for a stroller. There was an adult man that got sick and hurled over the boat and then there was a dog that went and got sick as well. If the whether is good then the boat won't have much motion but if it is windy then you or your child might get sick. There were no babies on our boat but like the other person said there isn't much room to take your baby if he/she gets a little fussy. We were out in the ocean for about four hours. It is a fun experience but not sure would be good for a baby. This of course is your call. Good luck!!
