We were booked on the 9am sailing. It was all very well organised and the guide was very informative. We were on the upper deck and it was really chilly at that time of day. Wear lots of layers, long trousers, covered shoes if you're going on the first morning sailing. We saw lots of wildlife, sea otters, sea lions... More

The skies were somewhat covered and the dolphins were absent. At a distance we saw in total 20 to 25 humpback whales and 3 to 4 fin whales. No jumping, only the back and the tails to see. But the excitement was there and it was a beautiful experience. The guide was extremely knowledgable and entertained us beautifully well during... More

This really was a time when I was so glad that I did my Trip Advisor homework! The company was very well organised and the guide was informative and cheerful, in spite of the number of people being ill! Fortunately, due to advice heeded from this site and their own website, my family enjoyed the trip immensely. Firstly, it was... More

The crew were very helpful and the commentator pointed out all sorts of wildlife that we saw and gave us lots of information about what we were looking at. Managed to see a few whales and a large pod of dolphins which was great, although very hard to get pictures because you have no idea where they will surface. However,... More

About 2 hours of sailing. We did it in August and had the opportunity to see 2 types of whales. If your stomach is not strong enough, take their complementary pills (at least 2 for an adult). Many of the participants experienced the sail in vomiting to the ocean.

We decided to take the 1000 Hr trip and decided to book seats on the top deck. The crew were clearly knowledgable and gave an interesting commentary throughout the tour. Our first "spot" were a large number of dolphins who followed us at the front of the boat. We then had a journey to an area where Whales had been... More

Whale sighting trip off of Monterey a must. We saw many Humpback whales feeding and splashing their tails with impressive effect. Plus a Fin whale and the highlight a Blue Whale for 15 secs before its deep dive. When you add some Dolphins and Sea Otters, plus a strange Sun Fish, an overall highly memorable experience. We used Princess Whale... More

Our family took the 10:00 am. Princess Monterey Whale Watching tour from Fisherman's Wharf. We were fortunate to have three humpback whales spend most of the two-and-a-half hour tour with us. We saw the spray from the blow hole, the lovely arc of the tail and even a few tail slaps over and over again. Additionally, we saw various birds,... More

All staff was nice. Boat left on time. Bring warm clothes. I was worried about getting wet, didn't happen. I booked the upper deck but would have been fine with lower deck. You're guaranteed to see sea lions, dolphins and at least one type of whale, all were seen. We saw whales from a distance but another boat had a... More

We thought this was good value at $45 per person, we booked online in advance, prompt and efficient loading of people, plenty of room to move about. Around 2.45hrs we were out, saw some sea otters and 3 or 4 hump back whales, an awesome sight. Boat is clean and pleasant, staff are really lovely, great fun and caring when... More
