Everything that was advertised in this tour we got. It took a while and the weather really didn't help, but we saw all forms of sea life. The best for me was by far the Dolphins....just so graceful and lots of them. Great commentary as well. An improvement for the future.....don't do the commentary whilst young girls/guys are trying to... More

We enjoyed our whale watching tour, even saw a few whales and some dolphins. There was an expert on board, but the motor was too loud and we couldn't hear anything she said. We paid extra to sit on top which was nice, but I forgot my Dramamine and the boat rocking was much worse up there. But overall, it... More

Great guide, great skipper! Princess is a beautiful boat. Saw few whales, spectacular species. It was quite interesting to be at sea with a gray sky and rather rough, average swells. Cannot wait to go back in the Fall.

A very good trip with very knowledgable crew. We saw lots of humpbacks, an orca, large pod of dolphins etc. On a downside the swell was about 8/9 feet and lots of people were very sick so suggest if you're going you take plenty seasickness tablets before you go.

Very informative trip. We seen the Whales come right up and jump! Would have been nice to see more kinds of Whales but we were still truly fortunate. Lovely boat although should check the speaker system as can be crackly. Overall enjoyed and worth the 3 hour journey from San Fran.

We went on the first boat trip of the day. The boat was spacious and not overcrowded. We didn't pay extra to sit on the top deck but our view was still very good and there was plenty of space to stand and look over the side. We saw loads of sea otters and two humpback whales. It's worth wrapping... More

The boat is good for this type of activity. We went on the earliest trip based on research that said it was calmer and more likely to see whales and dolphins. It was relatively calm but sadly only one opportunity to see humpback whales! No other whales or dolphins but you do get to see sea lions as you leave... More

We decided not to have the VIP experience and go to the top of however as we were there quite early we were at the front of the queue so got to the very front of the boat and had a great view. It was a fairly early start as we were on the 10am boat, but it was definitely... More

You know you are in the USA when you constantly have to make the decision about whether to be a 'have' of a 'have not' even on holiday. For this trip we are faced with £180 dollars for downstairs for our family or £250 for upstairs and a better view. It is 23 years since we last whale-watched and not... More

Went on this boatride to go whale watching. Not a lot of whales on my trip, but usually you'll see a lot. Saw a lot of otters and a humpback whale with its calf. Nice trip in windy weather.
