Every time I visit Monterey, I make a point of stopping by this place. It is so fun, especially for those of us over the age of about 60. So many "artifacts" from my childhood.I highly recommend this place, just for an hour of backward time travel.

A large antique mall with a variety of quality antiques and collectibles. Two stories with a elevator. I really enjoy browsing through each booth. I feel like there was something for everybody even you husband. You could differently spend a couple of hours.

This visit happened during COVID (April 2021). My wife and I went to Monterey for a few days for vacation. This place is a gem! Definitely worth a visit. We found so many things we wanted to by and bring home. We bought a few. I even looked into buying something and having it shipped down to Los Angeles (I regret not buying). We are definitely coming to this antiques mall again. So much to look at. You wont be disappointed.

If you love antiquing like I do – don't miss the Cannery Row Antique Mall if you're in the area. I think it's the best antique mall in this part of California. I love the hunt in a brick and mortar store. You never know what you'll find. Even though it's in an old cannery building, it's nice and open with high ceilings and light (and a bathroom).
I live in the area and come here at least once every couple months for an afternoon treat. An hour of browsing, then I walk half a block to the coffee shop at the Monterey Plaza Hotel where I sit outside at their tables and enjoy the beautiful waterfront view of the bay.
The mall has a little bit of everything. I would have said it was weak in the clothing department, but recently there seems to be a couple new spaces with just that. They have most other categories: furniture, costume jewelry, glassware, 70'/80's toys, art, garden, kitchenware etc…. not a lot of books though.
Of special note is a section upstairs where there's a vendor with a HUGE collection of vintage photos and paper ephemera. It's in its own small room. I always stop here. He must spend a ton of time organizing. Everything is categorized and the photos offer a fascinating look into the past.
The mall has a small parking lot on the side of the building, but 9 times out of 10 it's full since there are only a few spots. (The handicapped space seems open more often.) The parking on the street nearby is metered, but if you go a block or two farther uphill (away from the water) you can usually find 90 min free parking. Be careful. The city is pretty strict about catching scofflaws, so keep an eye on your time.

My husband and I stayed in Big Sur for our marriage/honeymoon. We drove up to Monterey one day to visit Cannery Row (which I wrote a review on,,,we found Cannery Row very disappointing and touristy). We had lunch at Fish Hopper (which was good), then got on the road. On our way out, we saw Cannery Row Antique Mall. We didnt like Cannery Row (In general), but this place is a hidden treasure worth looking into. You will need a few hours,,if not more. We only had about 30 minutes before they closed,,so we didnt see everything. It is two stories. So its like any other antique store, but this one is giant! The people that work there are friendly. If we had more time, I'm sure we could have spent several hours in there. If you happen to be in Monterey, I will say that the Antique Mall is worth looking into.

We enjoyed exploring this amazing large antique store in Monterey. The building it is in is also interesting to visit. We had fun finding some things we liked and made some purchases. Staff was nice.

If you're looking for a hard to find treasure I'm sure you'll find it here. A friendly can help you find what you're looking for. Displays are done well and keep very orderly. If your lucky to get one, they have a few free parking spaces. Clean restrooms are also available.

Having reached the stage in life when we are discarding as many of the accumulated trivialities as possible, a visit to an antiques bazaar is always a hazardous undertaking. Ended up not buying anything though I was tempted by some of the things on offer - about one in every hundred. There are two floors subdivided into little mini-stores that display artifacts from different antique businesses, some local and others located many miles away. The staff are unobtrusive but quick to help if you need assistance. Prices tend to be higher than I have seen elsewhere though not out of line with other California antique stores. This is an excellent place to while away an hour or two if the weather is nasty, as much for its setting in an old cannery warehouse on a hill overlooking the bay as the contents inside.

I’m fairly certain 90% of the items in here are directly from estate sales, a lot of junk.
But a great place for a good laugh.

This was a nice clean environment to browse for collectables. The only downside was the lack of diversity among the booths and the prices were pretty high. Expected nautical / industrial themed stuff and got glassware.
