I come to this place A LOT! 2016 is the worst I've seen the lifeguards. People (Kids mostly) don't care if people are swimming laps. I've seen them jump in on top of people while they're swimming laps, seen them swim across the middle of the pool, walking in flippers and running, the lifeguards don't do squat about it. There's... Really nice pool, but... Spare me having to be in close quarters with a bunch of guys that can't find the courtesy of putting a towel on when walking around or when dressing !! And, based on my experience with some idiot in the sauna, there ARE weirdos who visit this establishment !!

Awesome classes, huuuuuge pool w lots of lanes, great machines, plenty of parking when it's not 6-8am or 5-7pm. Love this place. They give you workout towels and your finger print or pin is all you need. No annoying membership keys to carry around.

What a great place. Visited the area just for a week and my wife needed a place to swim for her workout. This place is first class and is open to the public and very reasonably priced for out of town visitors. She also took part in a yoga class one day and she loved it. Having a pace like... More

My Girlfriend and I are very pleased with the sports center! We are daily attendees to the center mostly to stay in shape and work out! Friendly service and just great atmosphere! Doesn't get too crowded just plan ahead for Monday and Tuesday if you're working out since it is the busiest on those days! I recommend a membership from... More

The Monterey Sports Center has two pools (the smaller one is great for kids and nice heat for rehabilitation hydrotherapy), basketball courts, exercise rooms, classes for yoga/zumba/pilates/ etc. and saunas. Good locker spaces and showers and a nice coffee shop/snack area.

Great place to take kids, toddlers and infants. I did. They have an indoor slide older kids like. People are friendly. Clean changing rooms with lockers, snack bar with healthy food. What made me laugh was an outside area called "sun deck"...ya right on a rare day. You can also play basketball here, and use all gym equiptment. Staff is... More
