Our family of four visited the Elkhorn Slough location and had a fabulous time. Rachel our guide was excellent and this was the highlight of the time we spent there. We did wear wet suits and jackets (provided by the business) and took the two and a half hour guided tour. Wildlife was unbelievable and it was very educational. Would... More

My husband and I were recently taken on the 2 hour kayak tour with the tour guides Martine and Robert (I think that's what their names were). Both were very knowledgeable and had lots of stories to share. We saw loads of sea otters, harbour seals, cormorants and Pelicans. At one point we were searching for sea dollars and a... More

We took the Elkhorn Slough trip in the morning and it was great. We saw so many otters and seals that we stopped pointing them out to each other after awhile. We took the earliest trip and the tide was low and there weren't too many boats. On our return the tide had risen and there were a few more... More

We took the 2 1/2 tour into the mouth of the Elkhorn Slough which had been a long time wish of mine. Our guide was generally knowledgeable and nice. She had some particularly amusing and surprising information about the sea otters, not quite as much about the harbor seals. We got to taste the pickleweed along shore and understand its... More

We did the 2.5 hr tour of the bay- worth the money to be in the bay with all those sea creatures. Staff was amazing - we were late due to traffic and horrendous parking issues (come way early) but Trevor and Madeline (our great guides) fairly inquired with all the others in the group whether the team can wait... I will definitely be returning. Took the 1.5 hour tour! Martine was a wonderful guide start to finish. Explained kayaking while taking into account the varied skill levels! Had quite the adventure. At the end of guided tour, not only did Martine take a moment to acknowledge group success, she reminded us we could come back after lunch.

Four of us did the 10:00am, 2.5 hour tour on Monterey Bay. After reading reviews and weighing our options for a quick trip, I chose this over the aquarium. I'm so glad I did. What makes the Monterey bay unique is that it is home to many species, naturally. We got to see many of them up close and personal:... More

My 15&17 year old daughters and I went on the Monterey 2.5 hour guided tour. I highly recommend the guided tour, vs just renting kayaks on your own, as the guides are very knowledgable and informative on the wild life and the water. We learned a lot, in addition to seeing some amazing wild life, with sea otters swimming right... More

We took the 2.5 hours monterey guided tour and enjoyed every minute of it! The guide (I think Trevor) was great and very knowledgeable. 2.5 hours may seem like a lot of time but the sea was very calm and there were several stops so we didnt really feel tired at all. All in all a very recommended experience.
