Surprised a friend from Arizona with a 2.5 hour guided tour kayak adventure in the bay. Friendly & courteous employees greeted us in the shop - masks required and hand sanitizer was there at the entrance. Super easy to check-in. My friend and I were both wearing jeans, so our guide, highly recommended wearing wetsuits as getting in and out of the kayak you do get wet up to about mid thigh. She got us all set up with clean & dry wetsuits and life vests. We were able to store our pants in a bin at the shop. We had a small group of 4 kayak teams + our guide Emma. She was great, super friendly, broke down the general directions really clear on how to use the paddles and shared lots of fun facts of the birds, kelp, otters, harbor seals and sea lions while we were out on the water. Was a great day, water was calm, sun came out. Overall an awesome experience. Highly recommend!!

We did the 1 1/2 hour tour and typically it's just a harbor tour but we wanted to see the Otters so Adele accommodated us and took us directly to the kelp forest where we were lucky enough to see lots of otter. Adele was knowledgeable about the bay and its marine inhabitants. We also saw lots of sea lions and one harbor seal. It was not strenuous; the conditions were glassy and there was no wind.

Tons of animal viewing. Wet suits and splash jackets provided were clean, didn't smell, and included in our tour so even my Florida feet weren't cold. We kayaked with our knowledgeable guide Nick and all of us enjoyed. We had a double kayak and my 25 year old son took a single. Highly recommend. During COVID masks were required at the office until we got into the water. Perfect.
