It was by chance that we visited 17-Mile Drive. It wasn't planned in our tour itinerary. By chance we went ahead and only be surprised with its many beautiful sceneries. There are benches for a short picnic at Bird Rock, overseeing birds and seals. This is my favourite spot! The lone cypress tree is also a good spot for photography... More

This is a lovely way to spend half a day. You can do this at a leisurely pace and get out and take a walk.along the boardwalk, watch the sea lions and look at some fabulous houses.

Friends and I drove up and down parts of 17 mile drive during Pebble Beach Concours weekend and could not have been more excited or amazed. The coastline is breathtaking- even in morning fog. And I would highly suggest it for anyone traveling near the Monterey area! Great for pics along the way at any of the little landmarks and... More

Worth the fee to access the drive! Beautiful homes and scenery! My third time on the 17 mile drive. This last time we spent the day in Pebble Beach at a music festival. You see scenery you can't see from Seaside or Monterey.

Ignore the bad posts. This is our 2nd year here and we came back to do this drive again. It's $10 and worth it. Yes there is lovely scenery all up the coast but this is special. The Cypress trees are gorgeous. Not to be missed and stop at Pebble Beach for a bite to eat as its great food.... More

If you are driving Route 1, you can give this a miss. In fairness, we were there 4th of July weekend, when it was packed, but 10 bucks to drive at snail's pace round a fancy housing estate to see views that you will see plenty of on the rest of the route, is not a good investment of time... More

One of the most beautiful drives I have ever participated in. It was kind of foggy and gloomy on that day but still, the view was breathtaking. You can't help but imagine what it must be like if you were one of the lucky ones who owned one of the gorgeous houses along the way and you get to have... More

It cost $10 to enter Pebble Beach. The drive is worth it for a first-time visit to the area. If you eat at one of the restaurants they will validate your ticket and take $10 off of your bill for the entry fee. Anything inside Pebble Beach is very expensive whether it's a restaurant or the pro shops.

Do yourself a favor and just drive along highway one. We drove through it and just left at the first exit. What a boring ride. Even the adults in the car were like "are we there yet"?

The 17 Mile drive was very enjoyable. Stopped at several locations to catch the views, and had lunch at the beach picnic stop by the ocean to eat our take-out lunch and enjoy the ocean breeze blowing in our faces. Great on a sunny day! Very scenic drive mixed with multi-million dollar homes.
