On our drive down from the Bay Area, we used to stop here every time when the kids were little. It gives everyone a chance to stretch their legs after the drive, there is lots of things to climb for the kids & you can even rent peddle boats if you time it right.

My husband & I stopped for lunch at the park. We used to bring our kids there to play in the 90s. Glad to see that the park is still there & well maintained! I noticed that the train engine is fenced off now. Kids used to be able to climb on it. Lots of nice play structures, slides. Nice... More

I've gone to this park as a child (YES it's been there that long!), taken my pals children, and my nieces and nephews here over and over again. They've all loved it as much as we did when we were children. Also love the snack bar burgers and fries!!!! Seems like I've eaten there all my life, at one time... More

We went to Dennis the Menace playground on a Saturday afternoon. It was packed, but there were so many smiling faces there. My husband and I took our daughters (aged 9 and 6). I've noticed that places will get downvotes on this website if they have a lot of people or bad children, rude adults, etc... When we went the... More

We went here to have a picnic after the Aquarium. WOW! There are so many playing apparatus that it's like 5 parks in one!! Not to mention the bridge that kids love to run back and forth on. Kids had a great time. It's more fun for little ones I think because of their options but honestly, kids up to... More

This park was so much fun for our family. We loved the many different activities for the kiddos. It makes the adults feel like a kid again. Well designed and fun to be had,

Free and more fun than the aquarium or cannery row. Kids 5 to 12. Don't expect too too much, it's just a player, and you will be quite pleased.

I enjoyed the park almost as much as my kids! They loved everything about this park. Running from one part to the next. The lake was beautiful around the park, and the skate park was fun to sit and watch. Will definitely be a return to park on our next visit.

Dennis the Menace Park is a great playground area where you can bring the kids to run and play without spending a cent. Well, you can choose to spend a little money if you want to rent a paddle boat to venture out on the adjacent pond, but there is plenty to keep the little ones occupied right there in... More

Visited this playground with my grandsons and nearly had a heart attack because it's SOOOO big, I was afraid we were going to lose one of them. Very nice park overall, but really BIG!
