Go scuba diving, go kayaking, go swimming, go walking, go hiking, go snorkling! Anything and everything is amazing! My last kayak trip there I saw 25 otters, 2 dolphins, a whale in the distance, crazy numbers of elephant seals and so much more! No where else in the world can you get this kind of bio diversity so up close!

You like whales? They're almost in your face in the Bay. Scenery, weather (cool, not hot), aquarium, rec trail, Pacific Grove coastline, Elkhorn Slough, Santa Cruz......

The bay is as you would expect by the aquarium and the scenery is great, you never know if its going to be birds, or sea animals or what ever but do bring a camera and binoculars

I can never get enough of this view of the coastline. I will always travel here to just smell the sea and walk the beach.

Monterey Bay is definitely worth the trip, no matter where you're coming from. It can get quite windy ad cold so check the weather, but the beach is nice regardless. There is lots to do including whale watching, and great food!

We love this area. Lots to see and do. Lots of places to stay, eat, and play. Parking downtown is expensive. The Aquarium is beautiful. Cannery row is great to walk around.

Monterey is a wonderful place to go to escape the summer heat inland and to enjoy ocean views and beaches at every turn. There's SO much to do here, you won't be able to see everything in one trip. However, Monterey Bay near Fisherman's Wharf is one of the most crowded areas, especially during summer season and on weekends. Parking... More
