Love walking around there! The view is beautiful. Parking is tough on the weekend, so we park at the hotel and walk allot.

Perfectly clean and felt very safe. But being honest it's just a street with a collection of shops and restaurants and some link to historical industrial activities there. Nice views over the bay and nice for a stroll down. I wouldn't turn anyone off from going here, but I wouldn't go too far out of my way for just this... More

Great place to meander after the aquarium visit and nice places to get some lunch, especially enjoyed a visit to ghiradelli's for a scrumptious ice cream to share as a treat would recommend boys liked a bit of fun on the beach there too

Probably could skip it if short of time. More family oriented. Lots of restaurants and bars to chose from. Good sunset view

This is a must see for photos. Easy to navigate, lots of history, and many places to shop and eat. Parking is available and suggest not the meters but a pay lot.

Despite a huge commercialization increase since I lived in the area in the '70's, the history of the Row is still intact. The expensive up-scale places don't interest me, but there are still more modest places to eat and shop. You just go there because it -is- there, for me anyway.

Interesting street with many gift shops, hotels and restaurants. Interesting history behind. You can have a nice dinner here and enjoy the views of the ocean.

A few beaches can be accessed off of cannery row. My husband two daughters and myself are a couple restraints and walked through most of the shops. It can be a little crowded but everyone is so friendly, it's just a nice refreshing environment that I can not wait to go back to visit!

Stopped by last week for a little cruise through Cannery Row. Having lived near San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf for many moons it's one more destination that is created for tourists to drop a dime and think they've been someplace unique. It is cleaner than SF's but that's about all I can give it. It's unfortunate but it's just the evolution... More
