I love this beach because you can wander and wonder. And, if you wish you can rent a kayak. The ocean view is beautiful. However, you will not see a sun setting.

Butterfly Beach is a public beach, across the street from the Four Seasons Biltmore. You can walk for a ways in either direction, and even as the tide gets higher it's fun to wade in. When we were there, the waves were pretty high, which was great for watching surfers and even doing some body jumping for the brave set.... More

This is the perfect beach for a long stroll on a beautiful day. We loved our walk (1.5 hours) so much that we took family the following day! Lots to look at and good sea glass territory!

This is a lovely beach across the street from the luxurious Biltmore Hotel. The beach is narrow. I would recommend it for a romantic stroll. Check out the restaurant at the Biltmore -- pricey but excellent view, food and service.

In the US! The beach is flat. Go at low tide and you can walk for miles and miles! Wear sneakers as its rocky in places. There's so much to see from the beach... Beautiful houses, beach cottages, dogs and their owners galore, painters working.. Just a wonderful thing to do every day while in Montecito!!

Conveniently located in front of Four Seasons The Biltmore. Not the nicest beach in the area. Insiders or people who live here know better beaches. However, Butterfly is still enjoyable for hotel guests. Beautiful view of ocean and cliffsides.

Beach by hotel we were staying at was not very nice so we were directed to this beach. Very nice clean. The kids had a great time playing here.

We visited the beach for sunset and the view didn't disappoint. It was so peaceful and beautiful - everyone was so welcoming and it looks like a great place to take your dog. We stayed at the end closest to the Four Seasons which seemed to have fewer dogs around and then walked to the other end as the sun... More

Took a bus from downtown Santa Barbara. Short walk from the bus stop. Had a nice walk on the beach and watched the beautiful sunset! No water to rinse your feet afterwards.

Butterfly Beach is a nice area for sunbathing, playing in the surf, and walking along the shore. At high tide the sand area is a small strip but at low tide the beach almost tripled in size and you can walk around the rocky points which are under water at high tide. I saw a pod of dolphins and a... More
