It really is just a small shop converted into a museum. It holds the world record for most banana themed merchandise. If you can put a banana on it, they have it. You can also buy banana themed merchandise and banana flavored sodas. I wouldn't go out of my way to get here but for the $1 entry, it's worth it and the owner is very pleasant.

We stopped here on our way to the Salton Sea and it was a good 30 minutes of fun! My kids all really enjoyed the banana soda and ice cream and I enjoyed the cool photo ops :) Def worth a quick stop! The owner lady was very nice!

Garage sale of banana paraphernalia. Nothing of interest unless you like collections. Crowded with 'stuff'. Took us under 10 minutes for us to go in and out. Owner rude and demanding. As soon as your big toe is inside the store she is demanding to pay the entry fee...only $1 which is the only good thing about this museum. Not set up for disabled, no wheelchair access or parking, Don't waste your time. Head to Mecca and the Salton Sea instead for an educational experience.

This museum sits right off the road with lots of parking. A bathroom in the parking area is rustic but available. The couple running the museum are engaging and fun. Only $1 each to enter and loads of priceless fun. Banana costumes in mixed sizes to try on for picture taking. Some of the best banana shakes ever! You won't want to drive by this one tourist attraction. A must stop and see.

My wife and I visited after a day at Joshua Tree. The $1 per person charge is well worth the fun you will have. Be sure to get a banana shake.
