Such an amazing experience. I rented the boat for my sister's birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect. Nine of us on the boat, we brought our own food and drinks. We had Captain Andrew, he was really nice, funny and more importantly a great sailor. He had a big speaker where we connected our phone and played our music. The boat had kayaks and paddleboards. We didn't end up using it but would definitely use them if it was summer. The downstairs cabin was really clean and has so much space. There is a kitchen that you can use if you needed to, also a restroom. Overall a beautiful boat. We sailed out of the marina into the ocean it was magical, the sunset was beyond picturesque, and it made my sister's birthday that much more special!

I was in Los Angels with a group of friends for a bachelor party. We decided to take it easy one and cruise out with Captain Andrew. Everything was great from the boat to the route. I’d definitely recommend Charters 2000. 5/5

We had a great time. Sunset was like a dream. We were in the right place at the right moment. I will like to come back hopefully soon. Great experience.

Charters2000 was recommended to us. A highly professional team.

Owner Gustavo prepared our group ahead of time with an email that specified:
Time, exact location, parking,
what to bring (anti-nausea, sunscreen, jacket, ice, water),
how to contact the captain,
payment method (price was very reasonable).
He texted the day before to make sure everything was set.

At the appointed hour, a most beautiful sailboat waited for us at the dock. Captain Stephen helped my 94-year-old mom on, friends and family of 12 people boarded, and we set out for my aunt's memorial ride.

Captain Stephen did everything possible to make us comfortable and safe. I had forgotten to bring the music but the onboard collection was better. With Stephen's expert helmsmanship, perfect October weather, and incredible views, we couldn't have asked for a better experience on the water.

Thanks to both!

My husband and I were lucky enough to sail with Charters 2000 just this month. The boat was well maintained and docked in a very nice part of the Marina. We had a nice tour of the Harbor on our way out to sail. We saw sea lions, lots of seabirds and even a dolphin.....right in the harbor!!!! Once out into the open ocean, we kicked back and listen to music and enjoyed the view all along the coastline. It was a beautiful Fall day. They provided Kayaks and Paddle Boards and we even had the option to get in the water, but we opted for the comfortable feelings of just sailing along, soaking up the sun and relaxing. The Captain, Gustavo was fun and friendly and we would use them again in an instant.
It looks as though the boat can take quite a few people above and below deck so I image a Birthday or Family outing would be perfect. We were very pleased with everything from getting in touch with them, to saying good bye to them after our great day of sailing. 5 Stars!!

Tracy and I were in L.A. only for a couple of days. We wanted to get the most of our time visiting. We decided to pay a surprise visit to an old friend of ours and get suggestions on things to do and visit. Gustavo is the Captain and owner of "La Gitana", a 54 feet sailing vessel from "Charters 2000". We did not have a lot of time however, Gustavo did not hesitate to take us out at that very moment for a sail around the beautiful Marina del Rey and then out into the open ocean along Venice Beach and its beautiful coast. With the engine off and the sails up, accompanied by Dolphins, Sea lions, Seagulls and Cormorants, we had a magical time! Paola and Gustavo were incredible sailing hosts of our "short notice" private charter!
Next time we are in California we will plan for a longer charter. Gustavo offers a couple of different options including the use of paddle boards and kayaks during longer trips along the coast.
What a great way to celebrate a birthday, wedding anniversary or just chill with friends! Highly recommend these trips! Make sure you reserve ahead of time!

I was invited to celebrate a friend's birthday and I must leave a review. I spent an out of the ordinary party with friends in the ocean. Swimming, dancing and drinking. Captain Stephen was easy going but great at controlling the boat. By the way, a big boat with a lot of space.
A great adventure

We went with a group of friends to get away from the high temperatures and we loved it. It was so cool, we could play our music and drink and dance. We later went for a swim and did some paddle boarding.
Thanks Charters 2000!!

I called gustavo the day before I wanted to book a trip and he was so accommodating! We did a 4 hour sail to Malibu and back with Captain Rick. He was awesome!! He taught the kids about sailing and had them help with everything that needed to be done on board. We had a perfect day with some wind but not too much. After sailing captain Rick anchored near the marina and let the kids swim, kayak and use the body boards. We had an amazing day! Couldn't have been any better! We had access to the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. Brought food and drinks for the day. Perfect!!!

We decided to do something different on the weekend and my friend proposed a boat adventure. We made a great choice. We sailed with no engine and the sensation was inspiring. Only the wind. We spend a couple of hours playing in the water and falling from the paddle boards and the kayaks. Everyone had a great time. I super recommend charters 2000.
