The crew were outstanding. They were fine hosts and the process of getting license and rods was flawless. The galley was a bit small for all onboard but thankfully it wasn’t required by everyone at same time. Excellent hosts!

You did it again! We fished with you 3 years ago and had a great time! We decided to try you again and were not disappointed!
We brought some friends along this time and they really enjoyed deep sea fishing!
We got a few got a few fish, but that didn't matter.
They have the best employees. We were happy to recognize 2 of them from 3 years ago! They happily take fish off your hook and untangle your lines.
We always enjoy eating cheeseburgers while out at sea.
They will fillet your fish for $2 per fish .
They charge $55 for 5 hours of fishing plus $30 for a license and fishing rod. They take you an hour off shore.

Captain and his mate where friendly and knowledgeable. With their good sight and the captain's patience we saw to kinds of whales. Lots of dolphins and seals. So worth the trip.

Was a relaxing ocean trip. Didn't get to see any whales, but the dolphins were out playing!! It was the best part of our stay in CA! Everyone on the boat was nice, unlike the people at the beach!

Comfortable 65 foot wooden boat with a wide beam with comfortable open air bench seating aft that operates coastal excursions with an opportunity to view a wide variety of marine wildlife, dolphins, whales and California Sea Lions. Soft drinks, beer, snacks available in galley. Friendly and knowledgeable crew.

The trip wasn't very eventful as we only saw dolphins and sea lions and no whales! The captain was speaking in the beginning and then when we got into the deep ocean he stopped so we were all just wondering what was going on. It was also hard to social distance.

Dont expect to see whales every ride. You will see dolphins but not whales. Very sad ride, not a lot of life on the boat.

We went during a heat wave and it was so nice to be on the water- much cooler! The kids, 6 and 7 1/2 loved it. We saw many dolphins and a couple sea lions. :)

Did they mention whether or not the 10am trip has better chance of spotting whales than the afternoon tip? Which one did you take? Also, how did you book, please. Thank you.

I booked directly through the company's website. We took the afternoon trip. They said that they did not see any whales during the 10am trip earlier that day either. We chose the afternoon time because we wanted to avoid being uncomfortably cold. The high the day we went out was upper 50's/ low 60's and it is always significantly colder out on the water.

sorry don't feel able to answer that question properly, it is a fairly small boat with not a lot of room , the day that I went there was probably 20 people on board, and you may get away with a stroller. I think you should try and contact the company and ask them
