Tiki Mermaid, a yacht charter in California, is a unique concept that combines a traditional harbor cruise boat with a more “hip” nightclub and lounge. With a décor that is both modern and elegant, this Polynesian-style venue has everything–including a full bar and dance floor.
We offer a wide range of activities to choose from; you can go with a “Happy Hour” style appetizer package or several dining options. Your guests can purchase alcoholic beverages at the bar. An open unlimited bar is also available.
Being the only local boat rental in Marina Del Rey, California, that offers the option to bring your own food, we can provide just the bar you want!
Our yachts are available year-round for all occasions from corporate functions and holiday parties, bachelor & bachelorette parties, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, theme parties, retirement parties, the Marina Del Rey Holiday Boat Parade, and so much more!

I just celebrated my 21st birthday with the Tiki Mermaid and it was the best party I have ever been involved with. The crew was beyond awesome, the food and drinks were incredible and I could not be happier with my experience! Everyone should take the Tiki Mermaid out for a spin, unbelievable time with unbelievable people.

amazing!! planned a 90s themed birthday for myself and they were incredibly helpful and accommodating! I had no problems whatsoever and they answered every question and explained everything in detail so there were no surprises at the end! It is the perfect place to host a party. We had roughly 60 people and everyone had a GREAT time!
Additionally, I have friends who get motion sickness and they didn't have a problem at all on the boat! YAY

I recently had my birthday/retirement extravaganza party aboard the "Tiki Too" yacht. I must say it was the "BOMB" experience. The yacht itself is a classy and absolutely gorgeous vessel. The decor and layout is stylishly elegant for any semi formal to formal affair. The buffet style presentation of the food was inviting and fabulous. And, of course, tasty and delicious. The crew was gracious, kind, and highly qualified, to say the least. My guests were extremely impressed and marveled about how nice and beautiful everything was the entire evening. Especially the open bar (LOL). We partied nonstop till 1 in the morning. So, if you're searching for a break from the usual and want something different and unique to celebrate an occasion. You will love this venue. Many, many thanks to Nadia for providing an atmosphere of sheer elegance. She said she'd make it happen, and she did.

Truly a great experience on the Tiki Mermaid for New Years Eve. I was able to gather 55 of my closest friends for a huge bash, and the Tiki Mermaid delivered everything we were hoping for!
Unlimited drinks, great appetizers, (also unlimited), and a great Tiki decor highlight this boat. Not to mention the staff! If i had to work on NYE, I may have been a little grumpy, but not these folks. Bartenders were incredibly generous, the driver took it nice and easy, and not one complaint from a single one of them throughout the night.
I was also the person who booked/organized the boat, and it was a very easy process. I worked with Nadia, and she was extremely helpful the entire time, answering every single little question that popped into my head.
100% recommend the Tiki Mermaid for any parties, (work, personal, holiday). They provided everything we needed, (and then some) to make New Years Eve a very special night. 5 stars!

I researched over 20 possible charters for an office event, and found Tiki Mermaid to be the best BY FAR. Pros- excellent customer service: Missy was very thorough and responsive and flexible, the boat was decorated in a fun style, it didnt go fast enough to cause sea-sickness (doesnt leave the channel but surprisingly, didn't loop around it so the scenery didnt get boring), food was nice, drink service very attentive (bartender came to the upstairs deck to refill us so we didnt have to go downstairs to the bar), friendly yet professional captain and deckhand/bartender, GREAT value for the money. Cons- boat was a little on the older side in terms of wear & tear and the food wasn't gourmet- HOWEVER you get what you pay for, and this charter was VERY affordable compared to the others out there, totally acceptable for a company office party, and you cant put a price on good customer service. Would definitely use again.

For the past couple of years, Tiki Mermaid Charters have beautifully hosted events for me and my friends. Each year they raise the bar and continually out perform expectations. With an armada of beautiful ships and courteous staff, it is impossible to have a bad experience. I'll continue to use them for events to come.

We bookied the Tiki Mermaid for a "Friends and Family" afternoon of fun as our daughter was getting married in the area and most of our guests were from out of town. What a perfect choice! We booked the entire ship for our group with the luau luncheon and the well brand full bar. It could not have been better. They are very professional and treated our guests very well. They have a small dance floor and the means to plug in your iphone so you can have the music you like. Everyone had a blast!

I just booked my corporate team for a cruise around the harbor. Lesa made booking the ride so easy and was lovely to work with and attentive to our needs. My team loved the experience and we all had a great time, drinking and eating on the boat. I highly recommend this for a corporate outing or team getaway. Thank you Lesa!

The Tiki Mermaid was one of my best experiences and best birthdays to date! The experience working with their team to organize the event and get things set up was so smooth and pleasurable, and the yacht itself with its amazing crew and Captain Matt at the helm was PERFECT! My party couldn't have gone any better. Everyone had a blast and are still raving on what an awesome, original, and cool party it was. I don't think any one of the guest, including my husband and myself, have ever partied on a boat, so for all of us, it was a great experience! We're still hearing about it from friends of friends, and i'm sure everyone including myself, will be raving about it for a while.
The boat was perfect, the food was great, and the bartender was amazing. The staff did their job well and were almost invisible, stealth like, in making sure things were maintained, which was great too. The office staff was so great too in communicating.
