The Duchess is a luxurious 63 ft. motor yacht, captained and crewed with over 50 years experience. We offer any type of charter/private boat rental imaginable, from harbor & coastal cruises, whale watching & fishing charters, to destination cruises as far as San Francisco and San Diego and the Channel Islands in-between. The Duchess is the perfect place for a marriage proposal, a photo shoot or any other special occasion you may have. The Duchess Yacht offers true gourmet meals, served by one of our professional chefs and a well stocked bar with a wide variety of beer, wine, cocktails and refreshments. Our charters are 100% inclusive of all expenses, including food & beverages, crew, fuel and all amenities from snorkel equipment, kayaks, SUP and fishing gear. I had the pleasure of cruising on the beautiful duchess yacht for my girlfriends birthday in July. I spent weeks doing research to charter a boat for her special day and when I read about the well experienced duchess I knew I had found the perfection I was looking for in a charter service.
We experienced a Water Sports/ Sunset cruise to Paradise Cove and it was magical. I expressed to skip every detail I wanted in the cruise and he tailored it perfectly for us. He was super helpful, knowledgeable and he truly went above and beyond for my our special day.
On our way to paradise cove we saw many gorgeous dolphins jumping and gliding along with the boat. During the day we spent our time kayaking, paddle boarding and enjoying the beautiful ocean.
After our amazing day on the water we had a delicious dinner prepared by the wonderful
Francois. Francois catered to our every need and made us feel right at home on the duchess.
We watched the sunset on the bow of the boat. It was the most comfortable seating and we felt so relaxed drinking delicious wine and watching the sunset.
I've been a boater and a lover of the ocean all my life. I truly felt safe and secure on the duchess and to me that's priceless. Their knowledge and experience shows and I was extremely impressed. The duchess charter service is truly a one of a kind experience.

Absolutely amazing! A group of 4 of us were on the sunset cruise and the ocean was pretty choppy when we went out so captain George gave us the option of staying in the harbor but we chose to continue to Malibu and it was great! We sat on the front of the boat and enjoyed the waves. They provided blankets so we wouldn’t get cold. The ride back was much calmer and the sunset was unbelievable. Francisco was an amazing stew with the best service! We always had a drink in our hand and plenty of snacks. The boat itself is spacious and beautiful and had more than enough space for the 4 of us. Highly recommend this charter and we can’t wait to come back!

Took my family on a little mini vacation in Marina Del Rey, CA this weekend. By far the highlight of our trip was cruising Marina Del Rey with "Captain Skip" and his crew aboard The Duchess, a luxury yacht. It could not have been a better experience. Skip and the crew provided a top notch experience for our family. The trip included snacks, lunch, water, soda, beer and wine. Fabulous memories made!
