Our Santa Ynez Valley winery tasting room offers one of the Central Coast’s most comfortable and comprehensive visitor experiences, including daily winery tours and extensive picnic facilities. Archive photos and other artifacts chart the Firestone family’s pioneering heritage, from turn-of-the-century tire innovation to the establishment of Santa Barbara County’s first estate winery in 1972. The recently remodeled tasting room features an island bar and picture windows that overlook our estate vineyards. We strive to offer an informative and welcoming atmosphere that will appeal to wine enthusiasts and novices alike. Our free daily tours guide you through the history of the winery, and through the production of fine wine from vine to glass. Tours begin at the demonstration cork tree and continue out into the estate vineyards. The winemaking process is then showcased from the crush pad to the fermentation cellar to the barrel cellar. Tours typically last between 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the volume of guests and depth of questions. Tours depart daily at 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

This is a great experience. The wine tasting and tour are well worth the trip out here. The vineyard is off the beaten track, but seriously worthwhile. A well explained wine tasting, unfortunately no food served here otherwise it would be excellent.

Thanks to 'British Emily' our SatNav, we found the vineyard with no problem. We'd had a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc the previous evening with dinner which was absolutely delicious. The couple on the Tasting Bar are friendly, knowledgeable and chatty. Wines on offer are...More

Lot of people when we were there, it's one of the bigger tasting facilities on Foxen Canyon. Nice grounds, it looks like you can have weddings there, big facilities. Not blown away by there wines, some we pretty good but others didn't really impress me

Went wine tasting with some good friends. Great atmosphere, friendly, informative sommelier. We took bread and cheese. If you are a group get the wine club to save the cost of tastings and get bottles of wine instead. Also gets you into 17 other tastings...More

Stoped in for a tasting, old tasting room, vintage 1980. The server was disinterested in her job, very mechanical. The wines OK , not our cup of tea.

Lucky enough to be invited to a closed event at the Winery. Beautiful day with good food, good live music and , of course, good wine. Only regret was they ran out of Pinot Noir, my favorite. Great location to visit!

We visited at the end of August, just a week prior to harvest. Good to see the grapes on the vines and learn more about the processes involved. Tours run 11am and 1pm and are free. Tasting cost $10-$15 per person. Informative tour. Wines expensive...More

We chose this winery mostly because a brief scene from Sideways was filmed here. :) But we had a wonderful experience! We were just a little too late to get on the tour (too bad!) but that meant we had our own private wine tasting....More
