It wasn't busy when we stopped. Our pourer was super friendly. Liked the 'big easy' but bought the 'little easy' to enjoy on the grounds. They do not sell glasses of wine so I had to buy a full bottle. The patio was not inviting- guess it was too close to closing time. Loved the crackers called Neva betta. Going... More

You pretty much need to stop by the landmark winery in this area even if you aren't wowed by the wines. Great location. Beautiful grounds - picnics are welcomed. Friendly staff. Didn't love the wine but worth the effort

After seeing the movie Sideways of course I had wanted to check this place out. My wife and I got the opportunity recently. Now keep in mind we are novices when it comes to wine tasting, we've only done it a few times so we don't really know good wine from bad. But we enjoyed our wine tasting experience here.... More

The drive to the winery is beautiful. Winding roads, rolling hills, clear skies. When you enter the driveway of the winery, it is inviting and nicely landscaped. Once inside, the space is big and dark, like a cave, I suppose. Staff is nice, but not enough of them for summer time. Also, I found staff to be a bit uneducated... More

Been looking forward to visiting this winery for a long time. Was not disappointed. They make some very lucious Pinot Noir. Happily joined the wine club plus took9 bottles home to get a head start.

Having little to no access to Fess Parker wines, my only real basis for these wines was the "Frass Canyon" scene from Sideways. To my (pleasant) surprise, the Fess Parker wines are quite good, and our host (Ephraim) went out of his way to assure we had a great experience. Forget the spit bucket scene and enjoy some fine wines... More

We so enjoyed our tasting time at the Fess Parker Winery! We enjoyed chatting with the other visitors tasting as well, some local people who recommended a number of places for us to visit and restaurants to go to. The host at the Winery was friendly and informative about all the wines and had little stories to tell about Fess... More

Have been to many wineries over the years and this ranks high among them. I particularly liked their Chardonnay and "Big Easy". Staff was informative and friendly. I liked the winery well enough that I joined the winery - this makes the third of my wineries of which I am a member.

Fess Parker is not the smallest winery in the region, but still has a nice homely feel about it. It has a nice range of wines on offer for tasting and there were plenty that I liked! Well worth the drive up from Santa Barbara to check out a few wineries in the region!
