    Excellent and fun Bday experience
The wizard room was super fun to go through with our daughter’s little party of friends. Luckily the staff gives you a walkie-talkie to ask for clues because we got stuck a few times. LOL! The multiple rooms are AWESOME! It was such an exciting time once we started figuring out the puzzles. After the game they converted the game room into the party room. They provided pitchers of water, juice, and cups with crackers. It was a nice touch added to our pizza and cake that we brought. They took a group shot of us afterward and we gave the Polaroid to our daughter. The staff were very nice and accommodating. You can’t take any footage during the game because they are afraid of any clues being leaked out to the public. We had fun! Thanks again!

    Great birthday party experience
We had our son’s 10th birthday party at MagIQ Room. It was a wonderful experience. The woman that led his party was fabulous. She engaged the kids and everyone had a fantastic time. We highly recommend it.

    Fun and exciting
I had my daughters 13th birthday party here. They had such an amazing time. The host was wonderful! After they were done with the escape room they had games for my daughter and her friends. They also had snacks and drinks. The host made it extra special by bringing apple cider bottles with candles for my daughter. My daughter and her friends want to come back to do a different escape room.

Not my cup of team for escape rooms
Went for a evening with the family of four. This was our 4th escape room. I think we are about average skill set. We did the the Pirate's Den room. I was very impressed by the decoration of the room. Designers did a good job making it look authentic. So after getting past first obstacle which was solid, we got in the main room. Basically this involves finding 10 visual clues. You have to look at it from every angle. The structure of this I find kind of lame. I prefer a more linear puzzle experience. You have one weird puzzle and that unlocks the next step. Ideally they'd have broken this up with like 3 clues at most resolving a lock/reveal. Some of the clues were hard to find just from the darkness. I think they need to increase the light level to make this not annoying. To couple this, the clue person really didn't help very much. I think wefound 6 of the 8 clues, but getting the last 2 with her help were just painful. Even though we were like 40 minutes in and frustrated, clue person just had a hard time conveying the last 2. This is in part because we had to keep reciting the ones we had already discovered. There was one very nice device here and the final resolution might have been fun, but we weren't very close. So far this is the only room we haven't resolved. This room might be ideally suited for a group of 8 younger kids instead of family of 4.

A Great Time Had By All
Had a free afternoon and took the kids to Magic IQ Room. We had a fantastic time. The staff was helpful and most eager for us all to succeed. We got out of the Wizard room with less than a minute to spare, but we did it! Never give up.

Very much an adult game - as well as kids
This is our 5th escape room and definitely one of the best. We did the Pirate room. Admittedly, we were a bit concerned with the online photos because it looked more appropriate for younger kids...HARDLY the case. This is a very well-done themed room with lots of puzzles and clues to figure out. You are given a walkie talkie to communicate w/the outside but only if needed. Also given a lantern and with 6 people and older eyes, this was the only challenging part. We can not emphasize how well done this theme is. We got a 20% off next visit coupon and are looking forward to another great experience.

Arrgh, trapped on ye pirate ship!
We had a wonderful and challenging time in the Pirate's Den. Fortunately the staff was always ready with a hint! The venue is clean and organized. There are many rooms to choose room so we will be back. As far as parking, there are just three spaces in the back and some meter parking but there is a large Walgreens parking lot next door.

    Amazing birthday party fun!
My son had his 8th birthday here. Keeping 10 8 year old boys entertained and focused is no mean feat, but they did it! All the kids had a blast and said it was the best party ever.

    Great for Kids' Party!
Singing up was quick and easy online. The staff there is friendly, helpful and professional. I brought my son and his friends as part of my son't 10th birthday party. The escape was pretty challenging but with a few hints we made it out in time. Highly recommend.

We Came, We Played, We Worked Together, We Got Out!
We have done other Escape rooms with 12 people and did not figure it out. This time there were four of us. I'm 62, my best friend in his 50's, two boys I've taken care of for some years: a 16 year old and a 14 year old. We went in with a great attitude and during the hour it was the youngest who kept telling us that if we kept a team mentality; we could do it! We had 9 minutes to go and it didn't look good, but we stayed the course and kept positive, suddenly we found the person who could get us past one skill and then we finished at 57 minutes, 30 seconds! Nothing has ever been so exhilarating! We did it together, we kept at it and we got out! Really fun, stretches your mind, worth every penny! Ben was super nice. Had a little bit of a tough time to get the booking done, but way worth it. We will be back! Thanks, Ben!

We were a group of 8 (the max)...6 would have been a little more comfortable in the 1st room of the puzzle ...the last 3 rooms were just fine. Everyone could contribute & this was a great lesson in family collaboration (a side benefit for us!)....we solved the puzzle with 4 minutes to spare but it certainly wasn't too easy. We have agree that we will do more of these in the future & maybe attempt the Egypt puzzle next time.

My nine year old daughter wanted to have a unique birthday party, so Dec 2016 we had her party at MagIQ in the Secrets of Wizardry room. She had about 10 friends join her and they had the BEST time! The clues were hard, but fun...and the best part is that they escaped! Then they moved to the party room and had a really fantastic birthday celebration.
The kids had so much fun that they all wanted to go back and try the Pirate themed room. So, as an end of summer treat, we took eight of them back last weekend. Again, they had the absolute best time! We could hear them screaming with excitement when they solved a clue, or were getting close. You can also watch them on tv which is really nice!
Now the kids want to go back and try the third room - I think that says it all!
The staff is friendly and helpful Excellent experience - no complaints at all.

We did the Wizardry Room which was particularly oriented for kids. Most (though certainly NOT all) puzzles were kid friendly. The setting and developments in the room were particularly imaginative and fun.
