Great for Young Families
Aug 2021 • Solo
Great game. Very family friendly for multiple ages. We had a 6,8 and 12 year old. Was fun for them and the adults. Nothing too difficult, but enough to keep everyone interested.

Right amount of challenge, clues and fun for the family. This was our 2nd escape room. Staff is helpful with clues if you get stuck so not too worry if you don't know what to do...

Great birthday party experience
Jan 2020 • Family
We had our son’s 10th birthday party at MagIQ Room. It was a wonderful experience. The woman that led his party was fabulous. She engaged the kids and everyone had a fantastic time. We highly recommend it.

fun escape room for kids! great birthday party
Nov 2019
We celebrated my son's 12th birthday with the Pirate's Den escape room. Most of the kids had done escape rooms in the past and when asked on a scale of 1-10 what this one was, they gave it a 10 (best)! My son and 9 of his friends with the help of the game master were able to get out! It is very well organized. It was fun for the parents to watch them on tv monitors. The first hour is the escape room and second hour, we had pizza, snacks, drinks and fun games to keep the kids entertained. It ended with a great "champagne" toast which was cute to see what my son's friends would say about him. We had a great time and would highly recommend

Not my cup of team for escape rooms
Jul 2019
Went for a evening with the family of four. This was our 4th escape room. I think we are about average skill set. We did the the Pirate's Den room. I was very impressed by the decoration of the room. Designers did a good job making it look authentic. So after getting past first obstacle which was solid, we got in the main room. Basically this involves finding 10 visual clues. You have to look at it from every angle. The structure of this I find kind of lame. I prefer a more linear puzzle experience. You have one weird puzzle and that unlocks the next step. Ideally they'd have broken this up with like 3 clues at most resolving a lock/reveal. Some of the clues were hard to find just from the darkness. I think they need to increase the light level to make this not annoying. To couple this, the clue person really didn't help very much. I think wefound 6 of the 8 clues, but getting the last 2 with her help were just painful. Even though we were like 40 minutes in and frustrated, clue person just had a hard time conveying the last 2. This is in part because we had to keep reciting the ones we had already discovered. There was one very nice device here and the final resolution might have been fun, but we weren't very close. So far this is the only room we haven't resolved. This room might be ideally suited for a group of 8 younger kids instead of family of 4.

Family Friendly Fun!
Aug 2019
We did the Magic Room (easiest) and it was a blast! Hints were plentiful when we were struggling. We talked about it all afternoon! Great way to spend time together as a family. Our 10 year old was the perfect age to participate in a meaningful way. She even saw answers we didn't. We got out 7 minutes early with several hints. Combination of manual puzzles, hidden clues and problem solving.

Fun double date
May 2019 • Couples
We came for a Saturday afternoon double-date to try the Pirate's Den. It was a ton of fun! Wasn't too easy but wasn't so hard (once we got the lay of the land) that we got frustrated and didn't enjoy ourselves. Would totally try another room.

Pirate’s Den - challenging and super fun!
May 2019 • Family
I’m a 4th grade teacher and I went here with my partner teacher and five of our 10-year old students as a fundraising outing. We had such a great time! It was challenging enough that it kept our interest and the girls had to work together to solve all of the puzzles. We ended up having to use a few hints to help us, and we finally solved it at the last minute which was very exciting! Overall it was a unique and really fun, surprising event. Highly recommend!

I tried the Curse of the Mummy and really liked the variety of puzzles and challenges. They were creative and interesting and the decor was suitable. Staff was helpful and friendly. I'm looking forward to trying their other rooms.

A great time!
Aug 2018 • Family
We escaped with time to spare! But we did get a hint to help us when we were a bit stuck. We've done Wizardry and Pirates, so now there's just the Pharaoh left, the toughest one. Yes, we'd recommend it!
