Derek was our tour guide and his enthusiasm for history of the city was a nice addition to the tour. He was polite and helpful and eager to answer questions. Each of the seven restaurant stops offered us a delicious snack-sized portion of their specialty. Highly recommend the tour! Whether you live in LA or are just visiting the city you will learn something new and leave with a full belly.

My party and I had the most amazing time on this tour and would recommend it to any and everyone visiting and/or living in the area. We had a mixture in our group and those who lived in the area stated that they learned so much about where they have lived and didn't know before the tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the city and its surroundings. I would definitely recommend and do this tour again.

The places we visited was great. Loved how everything was in walking distance and the tour consisted of information on history and even recent films. Just wished there was more food! For instance, in my opinion we should've been given 2 tacos at the taqueria we visited (given the money we paid per person per location).

Our guides were phenomenal!!! The history provided and fun banter completely enhanced the experience. As we were a larder group, we were split into two. Our guide, Bronson, knew his audience very well and made sure to tailor the route specifically for our group. The locations/eateries chosen were ideal and the food was just the right amount for the length of the tour. This was the first time any of us had done a walking food tour and our guides provided an experience that ensures it won’t be our last!!!

Got this tour as a birthday present for a friend. We've both lived in LA for multiple years at this point so it was a fun way to try out some new food places and learn more about the city we live in. Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable about the history of LA, the architecture, and downtown in general. He was extremely accommodating bringing us our food, taking our requests and directing us to restrooms. You could tell he was pretty familiar with the area and it was easy to ask him for food recommendations outside the tour. The food was fun as expected, but what was surprising was the history tour we got. I didn't expect to learn so much about the history of LA and about the architecture. We also made a few extra stops in between food places including the Bradbury building, the gorgeous Biltmore hotel, and even walked past the Last Bookstore. There wasn't really much walking. I feel like we only walked just over a mile in three hours so its pretty do-able for all ages.

What better way to learn some history and get acclimated to a new city than a food walking tour? This tour had 7 stops, with more than enough food. You have enough time to add in an alcoholic beverage at one or two of the stops if inclined. We went through several iconic places and saw some unique architecture. Our foodie guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable, especially with the food scene in L.A. My friend and I rented La La Land later that night and we saw several stops in the movie!

My three adult sons (all 30-somethings), their girlfriends, and I had a blast doing this when they were all home for the holidays. Our guide, Scarlet, was so knowledgeable and entertaining! It's amazing how you can live in a city all your life and not really know much about it. This tour made my kids want to spend more time exploring downtown LA.

The walking food tour was a highlight of our stay in downtown. The selection of restaurants was perfect
the different kinds of food was delicious and you leave very satisfied. The guides were knowledgeable about the historic area and buildings as well. And the weather was a perfect 82 degrees.

We requested a private Food Tour in Venice, CA. All of the food stops were absolutely delicious and we had such a great time walking to each restaurant! It gave us time to chat and see the town and hear all about its history! Highly recommend this! Robbie was great and we all had a blast!

Loved this tour, a great way to see the sights, sounds (and smells) of Downtown LA. Solid mix of treaty foods... would have loved a few bigger bites but that's my own greed, it's all varied and delicious. The mid-restaurant history of the area was also fresh and interesting, some great trivia facts in there.

Did as a group of 4 of us, in a larger group of about 13 people which felt like a good size for one guide.
