I was lucky enough to be the only person on this tour so I had the chance to find out everything I wanted to know from the brilliant Tony. As with tours everywhere, there is so much to find out that you would never otherwise find out. I now know more about LA than man Angelenos. Highlight of my week so far in LA.

Our guide was a descendent of the original settlers so he brought passion as well as great information to our tour. As a retired teacher he communicated well with the children and made them comfortable to ask questions. Wonderful to learn how the city started and why, learn about the original settlers and buildings and hear about the use of the area now. I highly recommend this tour for all ages!

Great place to visit when learning about the Mexican period of California. Informative and provides a feeling of what life was like during that time. Great for kids learning about California.
