I recently used Zippy Shuttle to move from one hotel to another, with a stop in the middle for some shopping.

Booking this shuttle was so easy, and Ken was able to answer all of my questions and provided a quote quickly and explained everything that was included in the quote.

I would definitely recommend this company to friends, and will definitely use them again the next time I visit.

Excellent customer service

We used Kenny’s service yesterday to transfer from Anaheim to Hollywood and he was the absolute best.
He was flexible enough to fit in with our changed booking at the last minute,was extremely helpful with our bags,was exceptionally professional in driving and appearance and was just a really wonderful happy bloke.
He waited with us until our contact arrived with keys and even went to where our contact was a few blocks away and waited with us.
That is over and beyond and then some!
If you ever need reliable,safe,clean transport ditch the bigger guys who don’t care about service and go Zippy.
They surpass all service levels and are on cost alone worth going with never mind everything else I mentioned

Reliable and great customer service

We used Zippy Shuttles for our round trip transportation needs from LAX to our hotel near Disneyland this at the end of August. The fact that they provided car seats as a part of the service and the glowing reviews led me to book with them. The booking process was easy and seamless and questions were answered promptly. Pricing was great and I appreciated that gratuity was included. On our day of arrival, I received an email when the driver was at the airport and texted them when we were at baggage claim per their instructions. Within minutes they were there to pick us up. The van was clean, roomy and the driver was friendly and professional. As promised, there were two appropriate car seats installed and ready to go for our kids (6 and 3). The trip was smooth and we arrived at our hotel on time and as expected. Our return trip didn't go quite as smoothly. The driver called to tell me he was running a few minutes late as he was getting some coffee. When he arrived, he said he couldn't find two car seats so he only brought the one he could find. It was a booster style which was only appropriate for my 6 year old based on height and weight but I didn't feel comfortable having my 3 year old ride completely without, so I put her in the booster and my 6 year old went without. It made for a nerve racking hour or so in LA traffic without proper child restraints. When we got close to the airport, the driver said he was going to drop us at baggage claim instead of the departures because there was a long line at the departure drop off and we could just ride the elevator up. We got the feeling he had another pickup to get to and it was faster for him to drop us at baggage claim. Our return experience didn't sit well with me, but being in hospitality, I understand how circumstances can go awry so I thought it prudent to let the owner know what happened. He was extremely appreciative of our feedback and promised to address the issues internally that resulted in our poor return experience. He also promptly refunded 50% back to us for the poor return leg. I am extremely impressed with how the owner handled this and will absolutely book with them again in the future based on the customer service provided by the owner and willingness to stand by his product despite when things go wrong.

We used Zippy Shuttle to take our group from LA to Laguna Beach. Kenny was our driver and he was amazing. Prompt, friendly and just a great guy and service. Highly recommend this company.

Personal Touch Makes the Difference

I booked with Kenny after reading the other reviews here. His pricing was extremely affordable (especially considering his quotes include tax and gratuity) for a family group of nine heading to Anaheim and back. He was waiting near the airport for us, so was there within minutes, and showed up at our hotel in Anaheim just when he said he would. Kenny is very friendly yet professional, and is willing and able to talk about just about any topic. I'll definitely be using Zippy Shuttle again in the future, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Zippy Shuttle is a reputable, Los Angeles based shuttle service to take you where you want to go. After my 3 transfers with them on my most recent visit to California, I commend them on their consistant and exceptional service.

Punctual, professional, and personable are just some of the words that describe the team at Zippy Shuttle. Their prompt replies made arranging multiple transfers via Email quick and stress-free, and the contact number provided also ensured that my family and I were able to easily locate our driver upon arrival at LAX.

The high quality service provided by business owner Ken exceeded our expectations. He arrived at our hotel approximately 15 minutes prior to our scheduled booking time, was friendly and helpful. The car was comfortable and complimentary bottled water for the journey was readily available.

My family and I have been travelling with Zippy Shuttle since 2016 - and have never been dissatisfied. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

This Private shuttle service was the best I have used. Driver sent me an email before I even landed telling me he was ready for pick up. I told him it would be a little while and he told me to take my time. When we had all our luggage we stood by the curb and he was there within minutes. The driver offered all of us cold water when we got into the van and asked if we needed the temperature adjusted. I am quite sure that that’s never happened to me before. On our return trip to the airport my grandson got sick in the car. Our driver/owner was so kind and helpful. He went into the airport to get us a luggage cart and even offered to drive us to a store to get my grandson a new outfit. Unbelievable service. While we were attending to our grandson’s needs he packed up our luggage onto the luggage cart so we did not need to. Way above what a Regular shuttle service will do. From now on when I travel to Los Angeles Zippy Will be the shuttle service I use. Great company!

Bizarre experience in attempting to book

I attempted to use Zippy Shuttle for our upcoming trip to Disney, but after a bizarre email exchange, which ended up without a booking made, I feel that I need to submit my experience. After seeing great reviews here, I went to their website and put in my information to request a quote – 6 of us travelling, 3 adults, 3 teens, 1 bag/person, provided our hotel name, which is in the Disney area closer to the conference center. I didn’t have our flight information handy so only provided approximate times of arrival and departure, as I’d follow up after the quote. No special requests. I submitted my request Feb 25 @655pm. I received a reply shortly after with a quote for round trip, along with the request for airline info etc. as well as the terms and conditions, including that payment would be due within 24 hrs, the refund policy, and the fact that they will email detailed confirmation and instructions after payment.

The price sounded reasonable, but I had a few questions outstanding, so I replied the following morning thanking them for the quick response, liked that their quote included tax and gratuity and provided our flight information (as I had only provided general times in my original request for quote because I didn't have the details on hand), as well as 2 questions – if they provide service right to the hotel (as some transportation providers don’t), and if they would be able to provide pick up service early enough for our international departure at noon (as some transportation providers don’t).

Before I even received a response to my questions, I was emailed an invoice, with instructions to pay in full within 24hours. A few minutes later, I get a very short reply saying they sent me an invoice, and “yes, all good on your queries.” I thought that was a bit odd – to receive an invoice so quickly before I even received confirmation on my questions. But I guess an “all good” was sufficient for now. I replied stating that I’d discuss with my partner that evening, and reiterated that Zippy seemed to have a great reputation. I also wanted further clarification on a couple of questions – I asked when they’d suggest our pick up times be for our arrival at LAX and then departing the hotel a week later. I didn’t think talking with my travel partner was out of line, nor did I feel that asking further questions was either. However, within 5 minutes of my reply, I get notice that the invoice was cancelled, and a reply saying that I had ‘stated that I was ready to book’ so that’s why they invoiced me. (I had to read through the email that I apparently ‘stated’ this, and in no way did I actually say I was ready to book.. I just provided information that I didn’t early on the online form, and then asked questions). Regardless, I was taken aback - I get a quick invoice, I have 24 hours to pay (in full), I say that I’m going to discuss with my partner, ask a couple more questions - and the invoice is cancelled. I didn’t ask for it to be cancelled, and was intending to pay (in full) the next day, within the 24hrs of it being issued, after I discussed with my partner. I was honestly starting to feel rushed to pay in full, before I could get my questions answered or discuss with my partner.

The next afternoon, I emailed Zippy again, said we were ready to go. I guess he took my response too literal as I said “I think we are ready to book!” and then provided all the details he needed again, as within the 24 hours, our flights had changed. I also asked my final 2 questions again – time for pick up at LAX and time for pick up for our departure as we had an international flight and I wanted to ensure we were at the airport in time (knowing it’ll be an early start due to distance and traffic). His response was telling me to let him know when I’m actually ready to book, as he will only create an invoice for this booking one more time. Hmmmm… I thought I was clear but then realised I said “I think…”. So… another quick reply back stating, yes we are ready to book, and reiterated my questions. I also apologized for the day before, and the misunderstanding of the invoice. Again, another reply from Zippy, telling me very bluntly that I was still confused with whether or not I wanted to book, that if I went back in my emails that he was very clear in his instructions, and that I’m either not reading my emails or I’m not communicating accurately. He told me this was the second time, and declined me as a customer suggesting I go elsewhere.

I know in Zippy’s original email at the bottom it states that a detailed confirmation and instructions will be sent after the invoice is paid, but I still felt that it was not unreasonable to get answers to my basic questions before I pay a substantial amount in full, only to then find out that the timing wasn’t going to work for our flights. An ‘all good' doesn't cut it as an answer for me. I didn’t feel I was misunderstanding him, nor was I not communicating accurately – I was asking what I felt were logical questions, but, at the same time, was also very willing to book. So I tried again. I sent yet another email, apologizing again for my casual approach to communication, and explaining that I thought I was clear in my intention to book. I asked for confirmation of booking, along with answers to my questions for pick up at LAX and our hotel.
Another reply to me telling me that I had obviously not read any of his emails, and that I was not a serious customer. He told me to go to another company.

And that was that. I would’ve copied the emails here verbatim, but that’s not allowed. However this is how the exchange unfolded. The experience and exchange was odd, exacerbating, and has left me completely baffled as I've never had issues with my communication or asking basic questions before. I truly feel that even though apparently they pride themselves on providing excellent customer service (as I was told numerous times), when asked basic questions about their service and logistics, they only wanted the money up front. I hate to be in the minority providing a poor review, but after my bizarre experience, I need to raise a flag.

Took the shuttle from the Airport to Car Rental.

Back up at Car Rental. Bus rans every say 10 minute in Airport. It was free to get to Car Rental. I waited over 1 1/2 hours in line for a car I akready reserved. I thoght I could never get out of L.A. I didn't see any pretty lights like the picture reflected. Be prepared because with all the Obamian "Change" it felt like I livved in another country if not already Mehicko... I didn't have problems with any violence, It was hard to move my bags I just finished Brain Surgery 2 months prior to travel.
