The area

Address
Neighborhood: Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.

Consider getting there at the opening to avoid waiting in line for an hour, looking like a fool, while the bouncers gets their connects in while grinding dating apps. Most definitely one of the coolest place in LA. However, the line is insane. You will be questioning yourself if you are not willing to bribe the bully that guards the door. Sad to see the customer service going downhill. If you are reaching capacity there is nothing wrong about letting the customer know and telling them to go somewhere else I stead of waiting for ever at the door to create a fomo. Everything closes early in LA be considering!

I came here for a whole 5 minutes and had one of the scariest and confusing experiences in a club that I've ever been put through. I realized very quickly I did not want to be at your bar but because of its hidden entrance, I got confused looking for the exit and took a flight of stairs that were apparently off limits or something. A woman who was walking in front of me turned around and started yelling at me and told me I was following her and I would have to leave immediately. She was short and had blonde hair and I think was a manager or something. The next thing I knew I was being physically kicked out of the bar and told I would have to leave out the side emergency exit. I demanded to know what I did wrong but the bouncers would not give me any explanation. I felt very scared for my safety and was in such shock afterward. Horrible customer relations!

Very good place with great service.

Old style furniture with a cozy touch.

A very original entrance.

LA Prices

Wont say is a must, but it is a good place to hang out and have a couple of drinks

This bar was recommended to my girlfriends and I with very little details. We expected just your typical lounge where we can hang out a bit and have a few drinks. From the moment you walk in to the end its one hell of an experience. I highly recommend you visit and have some fun. Drinks were awesome, decently priced.

So we went to this place, on a nice side street north of Hollywood blvd called No Vacancy. Plenty of parking in the neighborhood and valet as well.
When we walked up we noticed the No Vacancy Sign lit up RED, as you would find in any old hotel in the country. having never been here before, we walked to the front door, and we were asked if we had a reservation, the answer no, because we didn't. I said we just stopped by for a drink. The manager came out, said come on in, and that's when it began.

Now I'm not going to tell you what began, I'm only going to say, that we had an amazing EXPERIENCE. From the minute we walked in till the minute we walked out. Live music in one area DJ in another, beautiful indoor and outdoor setting 3 bars inside, not a big venue, very intimate actually.

There was no cover charge, which made it even more enjoyable, I had a bottle of water, my companion a mixed drink that was amazingly hand made, by a skilled bartender. They do serve food, and you can make a reservation, always advisable. There are shows as well, no cover.

This is probably the most well thought out "bar" on the planet, but it's so much more. It's so clever, and that's only the beginning.

If you miss this gem, well, you'll never be able to take everyone you know to this coolest of hidden spots in LA

You have to find this place behind a few alleyways first, then you go through some interesting theatrics to get into the 1940s-style speakeasy, but I will definitely not ruin that for you except to say..."you gotta try this place!' Expect an slightly upscale crowd, and drinks are a bit spendy, but this is LA - performers and staff are all in character, and I will tell you that you exit the place from a different manner that you get in - but that's enough clues. One of the coolest speakeasies I have ever visitied - and did I mention, you gotta go? Do it!

Fun speakeasy bar with a cool patio and a very unique entrance (don't want to spoil the fun by elaborating). Very trendy crowd. The bartenders (or "mixologists") put a lot of time and effort into each drink. This is cool when it's not busy but I find it quite annoying later in the night when the lines get super long because of it...

I'm not going to ruin the surprise but I will tell you I doubt you have entered a club like this. They make you feel like you are having an experience and you are. Trust me, try it!
