Neighborhood: Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.

    Well organised
Watched the Clippers game New Years Day. Very impressed with the easy flow in and out of the arena. Being from the UK I'm used to a huge queue to get in and out but this was so well organised minimal wait to enter and pass through security, escalators for each level that were manned to avoid a bottle neck. The game was great, loved seeing the little lad sing the National Anthem. Card only at this venue that could have caught us out being 'tourists' we took $$$ but did have a card thankfully.

    Cool Arena
Great arena to watch basketball - and as a bonus Lakers won! Had access to the AmEx Centurion Lounge that was cool - 2 free drinks and somewhere to relax before the game. Would love to return next time we are in LA

Went here to watch an NBA game with 3 friends. We found it nearly impossible to even buy tickets to get in. Not sure if it had something to do with the Kobe memorial but it was so disorganised and horrible that we just about gave up. The centre itself looks nice and is well maintained with great sound and lighting. Confusing on how to get to the top levels though, seats were very cramped and drink/food prices are OUTRAGEOUS!! Robbery really. Not sure how they get away with it. This could be an amazing centre but there were so many downfalls with the experience.

I made an appointment to have a tattoo done for a specific date, I called back to move the date so I would be able to have the tattoo artist of my choice after reviewing their IG accounts. A woman answered and sounded very confused then she handed the phone to a gentlemen who confirmed that my appointment was moved to the date I requested. I got there early to ensure I respect their time to find out that the "manager" said he did not have me down for that day?? He begin to give me reasons why it could have been a mix up by telling me that have several phones that employees use and they may have not got the info right? I informed him that I spoke to someone at that location, I even confirmed it with the gentlemen that I spoke with. I took a day off to get this done and it was a waste of my time. The "manager had a I don't give a sh#*attitude. I asked for a credit. The company proceeded to text me that they were the largest tattoo company in the world, why? i guess to brag and not take serious a "nobody's" time. Don't waste your time for a unorganized and unprofessional " tattoo shop"

Say goodbye to Kobe, large outdoor area with flowers, candles, and balloons next to all the restaurants. Last night's event inside had a quiet minute too. Outdoors hundreds of mourners. T-shirt sellers $10 or memory scarfs 5 bucks. Must see before it is gone. Large photo displays on buildings surrounding the Staples Center. MeuterMedia

First time at a NBA game (Lakers vs Pelicans) and it was bloody unreal! The atmosphere is crazy and I’ve never witnessed anything like it. Was very lucky to get affordable tickets near the Lakers tunnel. If a NBA game isn’t on your bucket list, I’d recommend adding it!!

The Crypto, com Arena used to be Staples Center. Nothing has changed but the name.

If you are going to basketball or hockey it is great place to see such sports.

If you are going to a concert it is above average and so much better than the huge stadiums that are just awful.

The sound system is very good for a concert. It holds thousands of people so it is going to be crowded. They have top acts there and many of them sell out very fast. The staff is very nice and can help you. They have a no bag policy and you get a special line if you do that. If you bring a clear plastic bag they will let you in, you will just be in another line which is longer. I suggest you get there early.

Parking is a bear in that you will be walking up to a block if you are not there very early. They have parking, but some of it is around the block. The parking people seem confused and are not much help.

The food there is above average, all the junk food you may want. They also have a bar on every floor.

The seats are a little small and plastic so they are not the most comfortable, but they are fine.

Use the restroom before you get there or as soon as you get there. There are not enough, especially for women, and the line is long.

We have been there for many events. I do like it and I think you will as well.

When do the Kings hockey game was awesome, our seat in PR 12 needs to be flagged as a obstructed view. That part was disappointing. Lots of technology in the scoreboard area area around the park. Extremely busy so if you want dinner before budget enough time, an hour and a half was not enough for us to get a seat. Some of the side parking lots right about 20 bucks the main ones go 60 to 70 so if you’re up to five minute walk drive around the arena.

TERRRIBLE costumer service. The people who are supposed to direct you to your seats know NOTHING and are totally unhelpful, the managers or the people in charge of the events (for my case Calibash 2020) were rude, even to their own workers. When I called to complain and at the end of the day they ignored me and kept hanging up on me and it took me almost a week to talk to the supervisor. At the end of the day, they told me that they could not do anything about because (since me and my friends lost our tickets on our 3rd move of seats due to the fact that their staff do not know the directory of the venue) they had no prove that we actual purchase the tickets. Instead they sat us very far from where we were supposed to be seated and took a long time to just tell me that there was nothing they could do.

During a visit to LA in the regular season, a trip to see an NBA game was a must. We were really fortunate that the Lakers were home during the week we were there, so booked 4 seats for our family. We knew we would be high, but did not really appreciate the steepness of the rake of the top tier seats. Seats are pricey so we booked the row offered by the website.

When we arrived and sat in our seats, some of the family really felt very uneasy sat at the top of the seats. I went to customer services and asked if there was any way they could assist and they were really accommodating and managed to re-seat two of us to lower seats. This was all that was needed and we had an amazing evening watching the game. Unfortunately the Lakers lost that night but it was still a great evening.

Great thanks to the staff who helped with the seat changes, it really made the evening.

We saw the Harlem Globetrotters in the box suite and it was fantastic! The Crypto (formerly Staples) Center was really nice. Parking was super simple and purchased ahead of time in Lot 1. I highly recommend getting that Lot because it’s super close to the stadium. We had VIP entrance and there were many good options as we made our way to the suite. Practically no lines. We will definitely be back to check out more games and concerts! Our teenagers and young kids loved the experience as well.

The Staokes Center is a massive arena that can hold over 18000people, and it's home to several professional sports teams, including the Lakers, Clippers, and Kings. The atmosphere inside the arena was electric, with fans cheering and chanting throughout the game.
As for the game itself, it was exhilarating to watch two of the best teams in the NBA face off against each other. The players were incredibly skilled, executing impressive moves and scoring baskets left an right. It was definitely one of the most exciting sporting events I've ever attended.
Overall, I absolutely loved the Staples Center. The energy in the arena was contagious, and being surrounded by so many passionate sports fans was an amazing experience. I would love to go back someday and watch another game there
