Ask Irma to play a song with her bird!

Had dinner with family (nephew's first visit) which was good but a bit expensive- however we saw 4 excellent shows so well worth it for a special occasion!

The hotel was not able to accommodate me in the Magic Castle. They instead put me up in the adjacent Hollywood Hills Hotel up the hill. It turned out to be an excellent reprieve away from the busy main hotel. A bag of snacks and a quick private shuttle trip later I was in my room with an expansive view... More

This is a private club so you have to be a member or know someone to get invited to attend. Various magic shows on three levels, we stayed util the last show at 12:30 am. In one of the bars, song requests can be requested to Irma (a ghost) and the piano we play them. Dinner is available in the... More

I have been going to the Magic Castle with friends for almost 20 years. It is always a fun time. Its clean, does not smell (which after multiple decades, you might expect a musty smell), has all kinds of fun areas. There are so many shows, that if for one reason or another the main show disappoints, the close up... More

From the moment you walk in, you are entertained by magic non-stop! There are something like 8-10 (maybe more?) theatres and rooms to watch different magic acts. From close up card tricks, where you sit at the same table with the magician, to larger theatres with more dramatic acts (like a guillotine skit), there is always a new act and... More

I brought 6 people to the Castle mostly first timers. They loved. the dinner, shows and ambiance of the place and were honored for the invitation to attend such an elegant place. They've have heard and read about the place but didn't have a contact to go there. My cousin performed this week and is a member there so I... More

My daughter was invited to the Magic Castle by a member. We were all very excited. It is easy to find. You have to valet, but it's really cheap. When you check in, then entrance is magical. Plan to be a little early because there can be a line. The food was REALLY GOOD. We had to come for the... More

What a unique LA gem. Throwback to the days of Vincent Price. Spooky, mysterious and magical. Hard to get it, you have to know someone who knows someone but a MUST if you can manage it.

Arrive early because you will run out of time faster than you think. Try to get a docent tour,if you can. Look at EVERYTHING, take in a couple of shows. If you get a chance, check out some close up magic at the round felt tables scattered throughout. There is nothing in the world like the magic castle. If you... More

Came for a birthday celebration. Had to come during the day as we had kids with us and wanted them to enjoy the show. I seemed a little rushed. We came during the holidays. We came to the early brunch. You need to come on time as the next seating was in a few hours. There was time to see... More
