We visited on a Thursday morning hoping to have a look around the venue and visit the museum but, due to what appeared to be large scale alterations going on, the museum was closed. Even so a lovely contractor let us through all the construction...More

Take in a concert in the Hollywood Hills. Very ecletic line up - classical to country and everything inbetween. The best wat to arrive is by shuttle or park and ride. They have stacked parking if you drive!

Had an extra special girls night out at the Hollywood Bowl. I don't often splurge quite this much, but it was for a good cause. The food was wonderful and the concert was amazing. Loved seeing the Moody Blues.

We've gone here for some serious music and for some easy rock and the many times we went, it was exciting. Our seats were so high you could get a nose bleed, but the acoustics is excellent.

The venue is absolutely amazing, but I must say to me this isn't really a true Jazz Festival. And more of an extended concert where you're allowed to bring your own food and alcohol. Going to this event and having a great time depends on...More

Yes, I took an uber to the entrance of the Hollywood bowl without any inconveniences or unexpected hassles/obstacles. The entrance is crowded with people trying to enter the venue, I would let the driver to drop you off... More

We lucked into the valet parking at the Holiday Inn a block downhill from the Bowl. $30 was a deal ! Easy out too, 2 blocks to the freeway; avoided all the parking lot problems.
Is the museum worth touring without actually seeing a performance? Does one get to see, or even go on to the stage/bowl or arena?

Yes you can go on the stage when there is no rehearsal and you can enjoy the museum without attending a concert.
