About
Like a grown-up theme park, The Grove is cheerful, impressive-and stylish. Star sightings are likely amid water features and great eateries. Shop at DvF, Tesla, or a Nordstrom featuring new designers.

Before the pandemic, we used to go to the Grove La for our annual Easter Bunny and Santa photos and we hadn’t been back since 2019 until this past weekend!
I like that there are individuals making sure everyone is wearing a mask, properly. If you claim not having one, they’ll give you one. They are constantly cleaning everything! And reminders of safe-distancing. The little train is in full effect with safe distancing and cleaning after each trip. My daughter was so excited, it was like Disneyland!

I love the outdoor shopping malls of California, and this one is nicely designed. It wasn't as big as I thought, but big enough to have a wide variety of retailers available to interested shoppers. There aren't many eateries, but I imagine that's because of the Farmer's Market right next door. A quick walk through only takes a few minutes if you walk down the main street, but there are a few side streets with some stores, like the Brandy Melville that is outside the main street. Also, everyone stops by the pretty fountain to take pictures, so give yourself a good hour or two to get through this place unless you are an avid shopper and end up stopping into multiple stores.

We didn't do too much shopping, but did check out every corner of this shopping area and we spent about 2 hours here in total after going through the Farmer's Market for some lunch. Just keep in mind, this place is a shopping mall, so if you have nothing to buy, it may not be worth visiting. It is nicely laid out and designed with appealing aesthetics, especially when everything, particularly the fountain, lights up at night. That is worth a photo.

Combined with the Farmer's Market, it's worth a visit. And the LACMA and La Brea Tar Pits are close by (but not quite walking distance for most people although we walked it) as well if you want to make a day of it...

It was a lovely day to stroll through The Grove's outdoor shopping center. Not only is there a large Nordstrom department store, but also a movie theater, clothing stores, cosmetics stores, an American Girl store and several restaurants. Dancing fountain water spirts in the center pond are interesting to watch.

This place is a joke. They lie to you! They validate parking but once you leaving the place they will charge you full price. So many reviews about parking. All they will say is that the parking management is separate. The parking lady was so rude and she said please go ahead and pay and hang up.
And btw , on google they delete bad reviews. Such a shame Caruso.

Fav place to visit, eat, kill time in LA!

Whenever I need to kill time in LA this is the spot! Delicious food in their world famous Farmers Market. Frank Sinatra music playing as their beautiful water show sets the mood for a great time.

Also whenever friends visit from out of town this is the go to spot to take them to and they all love it.

Such a beautiful mall with great shops and restaurants BUT the parking management is disingenuous. Shops and restaurants will "validate" your parking for 2 hours, but once you go over by 1 minute your validation is revoked and voided. I went over my "validation" by 10 minutes and was charged $8. I called the manager to complain and was told that there are signs informing visitors that the "validation" is just pretend if you go over 2 hours. I never saw any signs.
It's a shame to spend money in shops and restaurants just to be disrespected by a parking policy that seems to be designed to rip off customers.

This was a nice outdoor mall. The central garden was a nice place to hang out and meet up with friends or take photos. Many of the restaurants had views of the garden and the water spouts. Most of the high end and chain stores were located here along the main drag or off on the small side streets. A large movie theater was close to the center and lots of signs all around the mall promoting the upcoming new movie, In The Heights. With some easing of COVID, the electric trolley was running from the front to the back of the mall. It was a double decker and free to ride. At the end of the mall was the Farmers Market which was a better option for different varieties of casual food. The only annoying part of our visit was having to pay for parking. I’ve notice more and mall installing gates and pay kiosks but suspended them during COVID. However not here.

Great Place to Shop and Great Place to People Watch. The Grove is very different than most outdoor shopping venues. It has such a variety of shopping and dining experiences. Sometimes there is entertainment and it is always buzzing with people of all ages. Some people visit just to experience the Vibe, the Experience and a beautiful walking place. It is right adjacent to the "OLD" Farmer's Market which is a historic landmark.

We went to the food court at The Grove in mid-October for an early lunch around 11:30 am on a Saturday. We were pleased by the spacing of the tables and staff that were wiping down tables and chairs after each use. The area was getting somewhat busy but there were still a few open tables the further you went into the food court. Tables and chairs are positioned in an open air partially covered area.

There are a lot of food options to eat here and our family ordered from different places. Two people in our party ordered different versions of chicken sandwiches with a side of tater tots from Fritzi Coop. Dad ordered a chicken shawarma wrap from Moishe’s. We all shared bites from each other’s order and found the food very good. There is plenty of parking in lots around this location and they do validate with a food purchase.

We got here a little late, most of the stores were already closed but it was still nice to check this place out and of course it wasn’t too crowded and parking was a breeze around 9:30 pm.
Most of the restaurants were still open and many of them were packed.
We took a nice little walk around The Grove and took some pics here and there.
