Great experiences continue!

We first used the service a couple of years ago when we booked a tour to fill the gap between getting off a cruise and flying home, because of that experience we booked transfers to and from our most recent cruise out of San Pedro. Let me just say that the experience this time was excellent and affirmed that this is the company to use moving forward, Harry was prompt and attentive from beginning to end!

We have and will continue to recommend Harry and team to others traveling thru the LA area. We will definitely be using this service again and again!

We couldn't have imagined a better tour. In 6 hours you have complained to us so many impressions, we will never forget that. Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Hollywood Sign, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Hollywood Blvd....... It was an unforgettable day that you prepared for Lisa and me. Thank you so much. A great company to have a private LA tour with.

Excellent email communications from the start to finish. We were picked up at LAX for a 8 hour private LA tour. Harry was our highly professional and friendly host/guide. We were taken to all the "can't miss' sights and had plenty of time to enjoy each location. Great to have a personalised tour from a local who knows the city well. Highly recommend LA Platinum Tour.

The Best Way to see LA

Harry is the best of the best tour guide ever. He is very knowledgeable and adapted the tour to suit us. We visited places we didn't know existed and saw others in a different light. Harry shared stories and interesting facts throughout the day. The four of us aged from 17 to 50 thoroughly enjoyed it all.
The vehicle is immaculate and has plenty of room. As we were flying out of LA late that evening, all our luggage was transported with us in the back of the car during the tour. Despite the excessive traffic throughout the city, Harry remained calm and relaxed. Glad it wasn't me driving. By the time we delivered us to the airport later in the evening, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a long time friend.
The tour (and Harry) were recommended to us by friends, and we are so glad we followed through and experienced LA with Harry. You will not be disappointed.

Second Trip and it was Excellent again.

We used Harry nearly two years ago when we brought our daughters to the US for the first time from Australia and it was a magical start to LA and the Hollywood sites. So this time after arriving from Australia at 6:00 am in the morning Harry gave us some options to see some things we didn't see last time. A beach tour, breakfast and coffee at Hermosa Beach, a drive through Manhattan Beach, to the canals of Venice Beach, the pier at Santa Monica, a visit to the Getty Villa (need to pre-book a time slot, but is free to enter) then up the coast to Malibu Beach, the beautiful Zuma Beach and returning back down the the coast via the Malibu pier. Harry then stopped off at a grocery store so we could get some supplies before our final drop off at the hotel for check in. Harry is always on time, has cold water and mints available and some great stories to keep us engaged.

Side note, this trip we also used Harry for airport transports once we returned from New York (flight delayed an hour but he waited for us at 11 o'clock at night) and before leaving for Australia again. Fantastic, I can't speak more highly of the service.

Our family had a great day tour with Harry. Getting close to the Hollywood sign was a delight for our daughter. There was no rush to get back home at the end of the day and it was a great way to see all of LA and it made our choice of destinations to visit later in the week all the more easier. Great, comfortable SUV made it even better. Worth every dollar. Thank You.

We were lucky enough recently to have to two tours, one with John and one with Harry. Our first, with John, meant we were picked up at the airport (oh the joy!) and taken around Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and finishing up in Hollywood. It was a great introduction to LA and John was so delightful. A personalised tour is so great as we just did exactly what we wanted, stopped where and when we wanted eg. we were hungry as we were driving past In'n'Out Burger so were able to pull in and get lunch! The next day we did a tour with Harry who took us more into Hollywood, and Griffith Observatory which was a real highlight. He also knew the best spots for photos and gave us lots of great information throughout. Thanks again John and Harry.

I found LA Platinum Tours and Tranpo in Tripadvisor and decided to book with them. It was the best decision I ever made. John was the best guide for me compared to the tours I have taken in the past in other countries. He made learning about Los Angeles history fun and he also obliged us if we wanted to stay in a place longer. This was the most relaxing tour I have been and my friend and I agreed that John made it perfect for us. If you want a classy tour with professional guides , then I highly recommend LA Platinum Tours and Transpo. They deserve every excellent rating they get! Thank you, John! You made it very enjoyable for me and my friend Michelle!

The only way to tour LA!

Family of 4 (2 children 10 and 15). one day layover in LA. Decided we wanted a private tour to make the most of our day and maximize flexibility. From Sally's prompt confirmation till we met with Harry right on time (with a most comfortable SUV) this proved to be an excellent choice. The tour was most relaxed and flexible. Harry did not stick to the hours of the tour and just kept going beyond our "booked time". The whole day had this flexible feel to it and he customized it to what we wanted ensuring we covered all the 'essentials' and a bit more: at a glance he detoured to simply satisfy my 10yr old's interest in a specific celebrity! it was all like that: no pressure, no hassle, taking our time: Harry is MOST knowledgeable about LA: he would tell us about what we are seeing/should see then he will let us wander ourselves to absorb it in our own time while he waits patiently. You won't get that in "mass-production" tours. It was a terrific experience for the family so a huge thank you from New Zealand.

Fantastic five-hour tour of Santa Monica Pier/LA/Beverly Hills & Hollywood

Our guide, John, was amazing! He picked us up at our hotel and we discussed our desired itinerary. He provided us with a fantastic five-hour tour that started at Santa Monica Pier. He drove right onto the pier, parked and then showed us around. We took a few minutes to grab some lunch at the pier and then we headed to Beverly Hills. John was very knowledgable of the sights and history of the area. He pointed out key landmarks and famous hotels and then took us down Rodeo Drive. After, we toured Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, etc. to see some star's current and former homes. (My wife and daughters loved that!) Next we headed to Hollywood. Sights included Hollywood Boulevard, The Sunset Strip, Grauman's Chinese Theatre and the Walk of Fame. John also took us up very close to the Hollywood sign -- right at sunset! The timing was perfect and John became our photographer up there as well. Throughout the entire trip, John kept us informed and kept us laughing. He was hilarious with his jokes and we were sad to see the tour come to an end. John offered to extend our time, but we had an early flight the next day and had already seen so much during the five hours. I would recommend this tour to anyone. The next time my family and I are in LA, we are going to request that John take us on another tour to different sights in the area. We can't wait. Thank you!!
