We visited this as a part of our Hollywood tour. It was a tremendous retail space but I did not realize that this also houses the Dolby theater which host the Academy Awards each year. It also has the incredible walk up with columns that show every Academy best picture winner with their year. However, one of the best stores... More

We stayed at Loews Hollywood Hotel which is right next to Hollywood & Highland. The centre has 5 levels but you can't access the top level as it's privately owned & even though we could access it from our hotel pool area you soon get chased away by security guards. The other levels have walkways where you can stop to... More

Parking at Hollywood & Highland is affordable and if it's a rainy day there is a lot to see and do here. Shops that I enjoyed in/around were Victoria's Secret - go in June they had AMAZING sales!! H&M, PINK, Sephora and Forever 21. We ate in the Hard Rock Cafe there and just outside you have the Hollywood Walk... More

I always make it a point to swing by this place when I visit Los Angeles. The area around it is really fun and safe, plus there is plenty to do within the shopping center itself. Up on the 3rd or 4th level (can't remember, probably both!), you'll find a really great vantage point of the Hollywood Sign. Perfect for... More

Just the scale of it and the faux Egyptian-looking facades and stone structures and massive stairs and height, let alone a nice array of shops and eateries...if in Hollywood, worth seeing...a good twist on the outdoor mall design and experience.

We parked here when visiting the Hollywood stars on the boulevard and it is a well placed centre for Hollywood. Parking is superb too when you buy something small from a local store!

So I had to be in this part of LA for work, so obviously I felt like a tourist, since I took the Red Line to get here as the stop is right below H&H. I did like visiting Shoe Palace, since they had some irresistible deals that I couldn't pass up ($30 for Nikes!). The last time I was... More

Nice mall with shops of different kind. Fantastic view to Hollywood sign. See the entrance to Dolby theatre. A few restaurants at the top floor.

Hollywood and Highland is a shopping complex, containing upmarket stores and a few restaurants and cafes. There is a great view of the Hollywood sign from the upper floors of the building, another drawcard. Good for a walkthrough and a photo or three.

We didn't stay there long. Only went there for parking in the Walk of Fame area as suggested by other travelers. But it's a nice place with cool structures/statues outside along with a good view of the Hollywood sign.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
