Our family of 5 from NC had a wonderful tour with Shelee-Ann on July 18th! She is very friendly and knowledgeable. We ended up having a private tour and really liked that we were not riding around in and open air vehicle with the California sun beating down on us for 2+hours like so many of the other tour buses. Highly recommend!

We booked our tour for early January after reading about Shellee on TripAdvisor. Shellee called me back to confirm our booking and called me on the morning of our tour, once to confirm and once to advise she was running a bit late.
The tour itself was good - we saw lots of homes currently and previously occupied by stars. Shellee was informative and certainly knows her stuff.

Thanks for the good review. Sorry I was running a bit late I had a family crises I had to take care of and they come first. I'm a one woman show. We had been on a day tour with another company and was dropped off near where Shellee had her van parked. I was disappointed with the tour I had just been on and took the brochure that Shellee offered. She was very friendly and told us she could take us to lots of places, we just had to let her know where. We called her the next morning and made arrangements to meet up at 1pm. Shellee took us everywhere! All over Beverley Hills, Bel-Air, Malibu etc and dropped us off at Santa Monica pier so we could walk around for a while. She dropped us back at our hotel well after 9pm and we had had a fabulous time! I would totally recommend Shellee because she can change the itinerary to suit the client unlike the bigger companies!

A fantastic tour round LA, with the most charming guide!! But I'm sorry to say, it is very difficult to take pictures, because of the windows!! (Impossible)
Maybe the small red bus, need a little clean up!! ;)
Anyway, a VERY helpfull and informative guide,!!!
Next time we prefere an open bus, so we can take photos!!

Thanks for taking my tour 8 months ago in April 2012 And now on December 14 I get your very untrue review. I;m very nice and go out of my way for everyone and I wouldn't be in business for 12 years if people couldn't see out of my windows !!! That's Ridiculous !!! Iv only joined Trip Advisor last October 2011 and have received so many wonderful reviews. But you can't please everyone. I always tell people to turn off there flash so they don't get a reflection, A digital camera is the best and always gets great pics. Can you see out of your car windows driving ??? I always let people eat and drink on my bus and sometimes I don't always get a chance to clean up the crumbs from one tour to another. Since I'm a one women show. I do it all myself. But it;s certainly not messy !!! My goal is to make people feel comfortable and give folks a great tour and make it a comfortable family fun atmosphere. On a topless bus you ether roast in the Sun in the summer or freeze in the winter . And Who now's who you will get as a tour guide. And I can Guarantee you will not see as many stars and places I show you . My bus has heat and air in a controlled atmosphere. The Travel Chanel said I was " The Best Tour in L.A." And The L.A Times Did a 3 minute Wonderful video piece on me and that's a Huge Huge Complement !!!

I have to say that our family went on this tour because of the rave reviews the guide received from TripAdvisor. While true that she was very friendly and kind and knowledgeble about the area and the biography of the Hollywood stars (albeit stars of a bygone era), the van is enclosed thus really limiting your view to the side you are seated on. We took this tour because it was a hot day and I thought the air-conditioning was a necessity instead of being out in the sun in an open air vehicle. But now I wish we had done the open air as it was really difficult to see things on the opposite side of the van from our seats. Also, I think her air-conditioning needs recharging as it was only barely comfortable inside. Most of the views of the star's homes was a disappointment as the shrubbery is so high that we were usually viewing the rooflines. Kind of disappointing in that regard. We would have appreciated one or two stops to stretch our legs like when we passed Beverly Hills Park or even the shops on Rhodeo drive. That would have broken the trip up a bit and would have been fun instead of seeing so many rooftops of stars homes. Just a suggestion to the very nice guide. Also don't understand why "tips are appreciated" when the owner is running the vehicle.

Thanks for taking my tour. Had you had taking a topless tour you would have seen how really extra hot you would have been and I can assure you how much shorter the tour would have been and most likely not showing you any old movie star homes, but I do because it;s all apart of history since they were some of the best stars and now only 15 % of the well established very rich newer stars actually live there all the others are all scattered around the whole valley and if the other tour people tell you otherwise then there not telling the truth. I just had my air recharged a few weeks ago, but this September and the day you took the tour was extra hot and any inclosed bus you would have went on would have been the same temp. And you knowingly knew before you came on my tour it was inclosed but unlike all the other inclosed buses my windows are extra tall making it much better to see out of. And I do make one stop but since you were 15mins late I had to be somewhere else . And I also gave your daughter a free tour because I over sold by one because I did;nt know if you would be coming for sure. So when you three made it I asked if your wife and daughter could sit together . As far as having a litter sign in the back saying tips are appreciated is concerned , I may be the owner but I work very hard at what I do. ( If you went into an eatery and the owner served you great service would you not tip them ? ) You would never know the bills I have for being an owner , all the taxes, gas , insurance , ect. I have a house and many bills and I do it all by my self . And get most of my customers out there on my corner of Orange and Hollywood Blvd at my both. I can be out there for hours some days and not get one customer. I only joined T. A. In Oct 2011. And have been getting Wonderful reviews from mostly all the good peeps on the street seeing how hard I work at selling my tour, And all by myself . No one helping me. And then getting in my bus and give everyone all I have to give on my very entertaining tour I have been doing for 10 1/2 years. And I love What I do And in no way deserve only a very damaging 3 dots . But you just can.t please every one no mater how hard you work at it .

Sarah and I loved EVERY MINUTE of our tour hosted by the amazing Shellee-Ann Kellee, who has a wealth of knowledge on the surrounds of Hollywood, Beverley Hills, Rodeo Drive, Bel Air and the list goes on. She showed us stunning actors houses and so much history and rundowns of "who is who, who lives where, who is dating who" and is totally in tune with her profession. Throw in her bubbly and friendly personality and you got yourself an AWESOME TOUR! Book it...NOW(Shellee is in process of updating her website but the "BOOK NOW" button works perfectly! Thanks so much Shelleeeeee! We lived out hours spent with you!!

Highly recommended tour. Shelee made the tour very interesting through Bel Air, Hollywood and Beverly Hills. She was very funny and we were impressed with her knowledge. A very exciting tour! We even saw Kanye West ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The all-in-one-day tour was fantastic. We visited so many goergous places with beautiful view and we took a lot of great photos. Shelee the guide is so kind and Shelee is also very professional. We highly recommend this tour.

Shellee-Ann provides a great alternative to using the big tour companies in that she's personal, knows her stuff and doesn't rush - you feel like you've had good value and enjoy the experience. The fact that the tour bus has a roof is big bonus when you consider that other companies use open top buses - seeing other holiday makers trapped a baking in the sun made me appreciate the choice we had made. Shellee-Ann's bus isn't big and so you get to have a good conversation with the few people around you, again unlike the bigger tour companies who pack you in. You'll enjoy it.

Shellee-Ann was a wonderful tour guide.
Started with a brief trip through Hollywood covering some of the history of the buildings in Hollywood.
Tour went through Beverly Hills and Bel Air through the homes. Unfortunately many of the stars have moved on either passed away or have sold the property. However, there were actually plenty of current star homes. Shellee was very knowledgeable about stars past and present and the little extra tidbits of information were a real bonus.
Shelle's van was clean and comfortable. It's a little bit catch-22 as to open air vs enclosed vehicle. Enclosed you are able to control the temperature better but you do get some reflection off the windows if you are trying to photograph something on the opposite side of the van. There are two open windows in the vehicle so I was able to minimize the reflection by photographing through the open air windows.
The tour does move along at a decent clip so I would recommend video over still photography as you may not have time to keep track of all the houses you are passing by. I am not suggesting they are racing by the houses. As a matter of fact Shellee slows down and allows you to get a good look, but you run into houses several at a time on both sides of the street so you are quickly looking out both sides of the vehicle.

Is there a best time of the week to take this tour? I will be driving in from my hotel and am worried about traffic and/or parking. Any advise would be GREATLY appreciated!

We took this tour in the summer and I believe it was a week day. The owner of this tour is very accommodating and will work around your schedule. There are parking lots close to where you will meet the bus, but we found parking on a side street a couple of blocks away for free. Her bus is smaller and allows her to drive you into neighborhoods that are off limits to the bigger buses.
