Our tour with Bing was awesome! We were expecting to get a tour of the city but we got so much more. We were blown away by the knowledge of our tour guide and we left feeling like we got to see a great deal of the city! Our guide even added in a few extra stops just so we would be able to see a little bit more. We were worried that a half day wouldn’t be long enough to see a good deal of locations around LA, but it ended up being the perfect amount of time and it allowed us to do something else in the afternoon if we so wished! We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and will be doing it all over again when we visit Los Angeles in the future!

Very friendly tour operator with endless facts about our trip . He went out of his normal planning to make our trip personal . Loads of info and ideas of what to do and offers back up advice if you are needing help . Our trip was a morning tour from 9.00am and pick up at hotel . Comfy mini bus ( with a roof ) with aircon and unlike others , insured , headset hands free inventory as you drive,
baby seats etc if needed . Water was complimentary . Brilliant

My relatives were visiting the United States for the first time from Colima Mexico. I live in Claremont but work in Glendale, so we met the tour not far from my office at the hotel on Vermont Ave.

I chose this tour by reading all the reviews on Trip Advisor that said this tour was more a historical take on Los Angeles. We were not disappointed. Our guide Bing has over 40 years experience. The amount of history and knowledge she has is amazing.

The tour started in downtown Los Angeles, I was surprised that a lot of the old buildings have been restored because I remember going there as a kid with my parents and it was not so nice.

My relatives were very impressed with Bing’s knowledge about the Spanish and Mexican era here in California . She was very kind and spoke with patience because my aunt’s hearing is not so great and she only speaks basic English.

The small bus also felt like a private tour and we met a nice family from Australia on the tour.

The great thing was my family members didn’t have to drive or find parking at all the sights like Hollywood walk of fame , Griffith park, Beverly Hills sign, and Disney music center.

We ended up staying at the last stop on the tour at farmers market and met up with my brother.

Thank you, Bing and Guideline tours.

Highly recommend!!

This was a good tour to see some of the main sights in LA, but focused far more on Hollywood and celebrity homes than general LA sightseeing. The guide was helpful but sounded like she was reciting lines from a script and did not seem all that friendly or interested in what she was doing. The tour was advertised as being 4 hours, but was just over 3, with the rest of it being travel time back to downtown.

Hello thelocalforeigner1, We believe that this review is posted to the wrong company. Please look closely at your receipt and kindly repost it to the correct company. Our tour is advertised as a 5 hour tour that starts at 9:00AM and ends at 2:00PM Our last stop on the tour is a one hour lunch stop at the Farmers Market. The departure time from the Farmers market is between 1:30PM and 1:45PM The return to Downtown Los Angeles (Not Hollywood) takes 25 to 35 Minutes getting back between 1:55PM to 2:15PM The return is not simply "travel time" The return consists of travel through the rich cultural neighborhoods of Koreatown and Hancock Park as well the Westlake district with it's rich El Salvadorian culture. Thank you.

Our tour guide Jim was so informative.
Our tour was so intimate as there was only one other couple on the tour with us. We got to see everything in Los Angeles. I would highly recommend this tour company.

On this tour, it felt like there was a very rushed schedule. 5 minutes to take pictures of Walt Disney Concert building and explore it inside and outside. Then back in the bus and only 25 minutes at the Griffith Observatory, and then on to what appeared to be the most important item: The lunch at the Farmer's Market - 75 minutes for that! I would have liked more time to enjoy the sights where we stopped and less time to wander around a crowded food-place. It would have been possible to do all 4.5 hours seeing L.A. and then let people out to find their own lunches. That way, we could have seen and learned more. The tour-guide was nice, friendly, and knowledgeable, so it is the structure of the tour that I dislike.

Hi Nete, Thank you for your review. We are so glad you found our tour guide to be friendly and knowledgeable! However, we do regret that you found there was too much driving on the tour. After 34 years of showing folks around Los Angeles, we completely understand that the miles can add up. In fact, after much feedback over the years — and the accumulation of traffic Los Angeles has become infamous for — we are so glad to offer the best efficiencies in our routes as possible. We pride ourselves on conducting a comprehensive city tour that delivers optimal sightseeing while simultaneously getting our customers around LA, Hollywood, Downtown, and Beverly Hills — a 40 mile tally! That said, we thank you for your note. We will always be flexible as the city changes, and will review our routes to ensure they are as streamlined as possible. To give you more background on the stops you called out: The Walt Disney Concert Hall is a 10-minute stop, intended for our guests to see the amazing exterior architecture. Unfortunately, the interior of the building is only accessible to box office customers. The Original Farmers Market is by and large the most popular lunch and gift shopping attraction in the entire city. It is a favorite for locals and tourists alike, and it’s landmark status is why our tour focuses on this stop. We have also found that our guests are hungry and enjoy sitting down in the marketplace as a rest stop at this point in the tour. Finally, we’re glad you enjoyed the other elements of our tour, including the 35 minute stop at the Chinese Theater and Hollywood Walk of Fame — of course, a huge fan favorite! Thank you, again, for taking time out to share your opinion! We hoped this helped give some background on your trip.

Bing was friendly, professional and gave us a great tour of the city. We learned the history and inside scoop on the sites throughout the LA area. Because our hotel was right behind Hollywood Blvd and we had spent the previous night walking it, she skipped quickly through that part of the tour for us and drove us through other parts of the area instead. She gave us plenty of time to walk around several sites throughout the city. It was a great mix of guided tour and exploration on our own. My favorite was our lunch stop at the Farmer's Market! She was also able to answer questions we had about that city that had nothing to do with the tour. She was truly interested in her guests having a great visit to LA.

We had a one day stay in LA and took this tour on recommendation of our hotel. It was excellent. Our tour guide Paul was a local and had wonderful stories to tell. A very friendly knowledgeable guide. We were with one other couple so it was a personalized tour. We saw so much and were never rushed, lots of photo opportunities. Can highly recommend and would use again on another trip.

Hi Helen, Thanks for writing this review. It's great you got to experience this extremely large city from a local's prospective. Paul has lived in LA, and worked in the Sightseeing tour industry for over 34 years. He, like all of our guides have accumulated many stories and Hollywood experiences. Thanks for the recommendation and will see you next time you visit Southern California.

My guide Carlos was amazing! He knows Los Angeles so much and showed us the most famous points in the city, telling us about the history and general information about each one. It was a wonderful day knowing the city and getting the best tips about LA. I recomend this tour and Carlos as guide!

We had the most amazing and personable tour and guide (Bing) today. She was fun and entertaining and really made our tour an event to remember. The amount of area that we covered was awesome and we could pick and it gave us the opportunity to see so much of the city and figure out what we wanted to check out on our own later. Thank you again Bing for an unforgettable experience!

Hi Jason, Thank you for taking time out to review Bing's amazing tour. Los Angeles is a very large city. We do cover a lot of ground so our guests can get a nice overview. Bing truly has fun meeting people from all over the world. The tour is a mixture of fun, information, entertainment all done with a personal touch. It's great that you are now ready to check out LA and Hollywood on your own. I will tell Bing she made your day an unforgettable experience!
