We're a light-hearted look at the Dark Side of Hollywood. Since 2004 Dearly Departed Tours has provided a 3 hour tour of the Deathstyles of the Rich and Famous. Mae West and Bela Lugosi, to Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, with a side of Hugh Grant and Chris Brown and Rihanna thrown in for good measure. "Creepy, Hilarious, but not for kids or the prissy." - Lonely Planet. Also available, The Helter Skelter Tour - based solely on the Manson Murders. Join Scott Michaels, the host of the documentary, The Six Degrees of Helter Skelter will unravel this bizarre time in American History. American Horror Story based their "Eternal Darkness Tour" on us and we've been featured on Ghost Adventures, Anthony Bourdain's The Layover, E! 20 Most Horrifying Hollywood Murders and The Girls Next Door. In 2017 we opened our Artifact Museum which includes a piece of The Hindenburg, Rock Hudson's death bed, Natalie Wood's prescription bottle and Jayne Mansfield's 1966 Buick death car.

We have visited LA several times and taken a number of the celebrity tours. This tour by far was the best value for the money. Very interesting and informative. We liked it so much in 2017, we took the tour again this year.

This was an interesting tour that had a mix of death stories as well as general history. Our tour guide did however get a couple of small things wrong. For example said that it was Johnny Ramone who passed away at an apartment building we...More

Really fun and informative. The guide had a lot of knowledge to share with us. The ONLY reason for the four stars is I saved up all of my money to specifically go to LA specifically for the Manson tour and they cancelled it. I...More

Thank you for coming, despite the Helter Skelter Cancellation. We are truly sorry. I'm happy you enjoyed everything despite that. We appreciate you.
