Going on this tour has been a dream of mine for a very long time. For a gal from the midwest Charlie Manson, his followers, the murders, etc. almost seemed too depraved, evil, and crazy to be true. However, for those same reasons I have been simultaneously terrified of and intrigued by the whole situation for as long as I can remember. Taking this tour with Scott Michaels, seeing the places that were involved, and hearing the facts/theories/stories was amazing! Scott is so knowledgeable on not only all things Manson but also Hollywood/LA, and is such a gracious host/guide. My son who had just come along to please me said the tour was the highlight of our trip to LA. Do yourself a favor and book this tour! You'll be glad you did!

I have taken many tours with Scott and they are always great! This tour was fantastic too! I took one of the original tours when you went in a hearse.(back in 1992!) I love Karen Carpenter and I was so glad I got to see so much and learn alot from this tour! So sad the museum is closing. We are booking our next tour for June."Helter Skelter" A big Fan!!

My wife and I took three tours in two days. On January 24, 2020, we took Tragical History with Richard. On January 25 we took Helter Skelter and Horrific Homicide True Crime, both with Scott. All three tours and both guides were amazing. If you are a Death Hag or want to become one take as many DD tours as you can. My single constructive criticism has to do with the guests. Please don’t comment on everything the guide says. Your witticisms will bore the rest of the guests very soon. And they’re distracting. Guide: “I’ll be turning left at the traffic signal.” Guest: “Great!” Guide: “Sharon Tate’s last meal was at El Coyote.” Guest: “I was talking to my friend about Sharon just the other day.” And on and on.
