I agree with many of the other reviewers that this campus is stunningly beautiful. This is where many movies have been filmed, including The Godfather, Old School, Legally Blonde. One of the most iconic spots on campus is the grassy quad between Royce Hall and Powell Library. Other scenic spots include the Bruin Bear at the foot of Bruin Walk, Tongva Steps, the Sculpture Garden on North campus and the Botanical Gardens on South campus. If you want to avoid the parking costs, which can range from eight dollars to $24, depending on how long you’re there, park at one of the cheaper parking structures in Westwood Village, put on your walking shoes and walk the quarter mile to campus.

Amazingly, this was my first visit to the UCLA campus. I wanted to see it but I didn't want to pay $14 for a full day of parking to walk around for 30 minutes so we drove around the loop. It's a nice campus. I heard that the land area is the smallest of all the UCs with the largest enrollment.

UCLA has the most beautiful campus ever (although I am a little biased since I'm a student here). You can relax near the Janns steps, grab a coffee at Kerckhoff Hall, or take a stroll in the Statue Garden. One downside is that parking is expensive (e.g. $8 for 2 hours).

We arrived early from Downtown on Sunday morning and saw a well-supported charity walk underway.

We enjoyed a couple hours strolling around the great campus, taking in the numerous landmark sights. The four original buildings are gorgeous. Royce Hall was modelled on the Milanese Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio and has light filled vaulted arches.

Powell Library has impressive architectural styling. In Romanesque Revival form it was also inspired by an Italian Basilica. It is named in honour of the university librarian with a tenure of 17 years from 1944.

Marvellous modern sculptures are to be admired in the Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden. An outstanding collection. A number of interesting temporary exhibitions were underway at the Fowler Museum.

The campus and buildings are old school and have remarkable architecture. The campus is worth the walk around. There are lots of notable places to visit and see what is on TV. I would recommend a trip to walk around Westwood which is the small town adjoined to UCLA campus. Parking is a bit steep in the area. I park in structure 8 for $12 per day and it has lots of public spaces on deck 3 next to UCLA Medical Center.

« I am no stranger to UCLA...I’ve driven by it many times on the 405 Freeway » Martin Mull once said at an Ackerman at Noon appearance.
In fact I spent four years here as an undergraduate and am grateful for having been able to attend this great institution !!!
Now I work nearby and can eat my lunch in the Village and reminisce

UCLA is an urban oasis located in the Westwood area of LA because it has wonderfully landscaped green campus. The dogwood was blooming when we visited in mid-February. There's also a large botanical garden on campus that we're saving for our next LA trip.

University of California, referred to as [UCLA], is a world-renowned public research university located in Los Angeles, USA.
Since our stay was short, the school was too big, so we found a nearby spot to visit.
The atmosphere of the whole school is very good!! On Friday afternoon, I saw club activities on the grass, readers in the library or corners of the campus, etc.

If you look at the news grom UCLA, which kind of professors are working there you understand that this university is totally overrated. Nice buildings, but an aggressive crowd of anti-Semitic students and teachers around. By one word: A no go!

This is a great school and a fun place to visit weather you are a student here or not. The campus has lots of beautiful architecture, with museums, Pauley Pavilion (a large indoor arena), a sculpture garden and lots of other things to see and do. There is plenty of parking in multiple parking garages on the campus with a large campus store located close to the Westwood (south campus) entrance. UCLA is a fun place to go to school too and worth a visit.
