What an incredible day we had at Paramount Studios. We ventured into the prop warehouse, visited sets of actual shows, visited the library, archives and more. When visiting Hollywood this tour is a must.

We were unsure about going on a studio tour and if we were to go on one which one to choose. We made the right choice. We signed up for the standard 2 hour tour and it was wonderful. From the memorabilia while waiting for the tour to begin, to the prop department, the viewing theater and the various set... More

We have done them all, with the exception of the Disney offered, and feel this is the best of the lot. We have enjoyed them all, and would recommend people still do them. However, this one is still out favorite. It has some offerings the others did not, and the tour guide also seemed to be more vested and knowledgeable.... More

WE did the Night Tour with our guide Ryan. Firstly he was a very knowledgeable film "nerd" in a nice way, he was a genuinely nice bloke who had time for everyone and his knowledge vast. The tour itself was a little long, maybe exaggerated by the hot balmy temperatures, but it was. You must wear sensible shoes. What you... More

This tour is maybe more suited for an older crowd with all the history of film going back to black and white film. It's amazing to hear the stories of the start of film and tv. We also did the WB studio tour. I think it depends on who's in your group as to which one is better suited. The... More

It seems a little costly but I'd say it is worth the money. Tour guide (Jacob on our tour) was personable, funny and clearly knew what he was talking about. Maximum group size is just 7. We saw four different sets: Grace and Frankie, Dr Phil, School of Rock and some other kids show that I can't remember the name... More

This was great fun to visit the sets for many famous television shows, series, and movies. Paramount has a great history that was exciting to see behind the scenes where that history was made. We really enjoyed the tour.

We went on the guided tour on a Sunday, it was great to see the sets of several tv shows (Dr Phil etc.) and behind the scenes of several famous sets and backdrops. Being a tour of the movie studio there was a fair bit of self-promotion going on and a lot of references to shows I've never seen or... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
