I went with a friend and we really enjoyed this tour! The small group size was great - it meant you could easily ask questions and move around quickly. Our guide Jesse was amazing - very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. We loved hearing the classic Hollywood stories and seeing some of the historic parts of the lot.

Ok tour, nice way to spend 2 hours. Pros: not too busy so you can look around and enjoy the tour without crowds. Tour guides were very knowledgable, shared lots of nice little stories with us. Cons: completely rushed in the gift shop. Only one toilet so by the time everyone had gone there was no time to shop. I did explain this to the guide. I didn’t end up buying anything because of this. Sets were pretty basic, only got to visit the Dr Phil set. Had to stay in the cart most of the time. Not interactive enough. Thought it was expensive for the experience.

Absolutely loved it. Well worth the entrance fee (VIP tours cost $200) and the time (more than four hours). Our tour guide, Mike was amazing and funny, and the amount of insight we gained is unbelievable. There's something for all tastes. Bits of old Hollywood grandeur (a telegram from de Mille), props for iconic movies and stars (from Cary Grant's suit to Tom Cruise's jacket and Brad Pitt's outfit), a delicious lunch, a New York City within the lot, a visit and a talk with the Head of the Sign Department (Leonard you were the best!) and so many other things. It is a visit to remember!
