we stayed at the Universal City Hilton and the concierge sold us the VIP tour for $295 per person the day before our visit. Sounded a bit steep, but it was my wife's birthday, so we did it. It was a great value. From the continental breakfast at the studios in the morning through the guided studio tour the first... More

Great fun in the world of movies! Wear comfortable shoes and hope for a "not so hot sunny day"....difficult when you are in Southern California :)

This was definitely worth our time. We got to do a studio tour around the ones currently in use which was definitely worth it. Go early though as the queues get crazy. Unfortunately we didn't spot any celebs. The theme park was great and really cool to just walk through. The only ride we went on was the transformers one... More

We brought our ten year old during April vacation. He loved it. most rides are now the simulation rides with a movie playing while the car moves around on its platform. Tough if you are subject to motion sickness. The studio tour was fun and informative. Overall met expectations for what we thought universal would be.

It is one of the best places to go if you like rides. We were traveling with teenagers and they loved every minute of it. If you kids are younger they may not love it but will have fun. I would recommend disney for younger ones but anyone would have fun here. Tones of stuff to do, look at, places... More

My blessing/curse is that I went to Universal Studios Orlando prior to this one. Orlando is AWESOME!!! It's Universal and a full-fledged amusement park with stomach dropping rides! Universal Hollywood is much more tame, with mellow rides. Some find The Mummy, Jurassic Park and Transformers 3D exciting, and it's cool, but they aren't thrill rides at all. If you're ok... More

Got a 2 day pass for under $75.00. easily saw the entire park, and rode most attractions twice. Krusty burger was a bit of a disappointment. super pricey, and not so good. Kletus's chicken and waffles were GREAT!

We decided to spend the extra $ for the VIP Experience and we were not disappointed whatsoever. It started off w/a greeting and placing you in the VIP lounge for breakfast and moving watching while you waited for your tour to begin. The tour guide, Donna, was so wonderful. She greeted us at our table and introduced herself and told... More

I often work at Universal. Not the park. I am a set painter. I am the guy, among others, watching you go by on those trolleys when you come around the back side of the park and see the cafe for the movie tradespeople and the various on going shows. The cafe is usually in a sea of star trailers.... More
