I've been to Universal Studios periodically over the past 20 years and can honestly say, it's better than Disneyland - smaller (though in that timeframe it HAS expanded quite a bit) and much more emphasis on something solid, i.e. movies, rather than fantasies manufactured for children (e.g. whirling teacups!); not that Disneyland isn't worth a visit, just that Universal Studios... I love Universal Studios, I have my annual pass and I go whenever I feel bored.. Rides are really great specially Simpsons, Mummy and Transofmers, I never fet enough of this place! I would suggest people to get their front of the line passes whenever it gets really crowded

Halloween Haunt is a MUST TRY! I am not a fan of haunted houses, the walking dead and anything that jumps out at you. After years and years of talking about it.... I still did not must up the bravery. My friends bought a non-refundable ticket and away we went! The queues are long but definitely worth the wait. Each... More

It's a must to see everytime i have visitors, its fun for all ages, rides are thrilling, fun and safe, i enjoyed most the studio tours, it reminds me of the movies i watched before, able to understood how they were filmed and the actual scenes effect, what is most memorable to me was the Jaws and Wisteria Lane from... If you are in LA, get this booked without any hesitation!!! Yes it's pricey, but sooo worth it!! I've visited this place twice in two year now (from the UK!) and both times it was absolutely awesome!! The rides are awesome (yes, queues can have you standing around for a while) but that's to be expected. If you are movie... More

I just didn't enjoy Universal Studios Hollywood. I know I'm in the minority when I say that, but there you have it. I've been twice and the tram that takes you around the actual studio lot is fun, but that's about it. The other attractions felt anti-climactic after waiting in line for them. And there weren't enough attractions to make... More

Visited early september on a Friday so the park was not to busy. Longest ride time was about 40 minutes. Highlight for me was the back stage tour which takes a good hour with a couple of "surprises2 thrown in along the way. the park seemed a lot smaller than its equivalent in Florida and there are only half a...
