First time there but already planning next year’s return visit!! We were able to see all we wanted in one day. The park is not daunting in size and attractions such as a Disneyworld or other theme parks. Our first stop was the Studio Tour...More
I wouldn’t actually call Universal Studios Hollywood a theme park. I would describe USH more like this: take a zillion expensive gift shops; add an enormous number of overpriced restaurants; put in a few 3D “rides”; add a few short “shows”, and a couple of...More
Having some very fond memories of this park, I was excited to return. It was not quite as good as I had hoped but still a lot of fun. The studio tour was the best part for me and our tour guide "CJ" did a...More
Had a fun day here. Like all amusement parks it is expensive. Basic parking is $25. Preferred parking is $35. We paid for express passes. Allows you to go the front of the line on each attraction 1 time. Pricey but in our opinion it...More
If you go, you must do the Tram ride. It goes through all the things that were filmed there and you really feel like you are on a LIVE set. They show you how they make these stories come to life and make it so...More
Didn’t realise it was Presidents Day when we booked.
Certain rides were busy as expected but some we managed to get on after a short wait.
Some nice shops but expensive as you would expect.
Exoensive to visit for the day but a good day...More
We visited Universal Studios 4 years ago and absolutely loved it so decided to go again this year. Unfortunately we were really disappointed this time. Ticket prices have drastically increased since last time. It took us nearly 1 hour to get into the park; parking...More

Yes. It is totally possible. We did the entire park during the shortened hours of 10-5. With the VIP, I believe you get priority seating so that makes everything go faster. It does help if you go on a day when it's not 100% sunny or during the week. I would also recommend doing the Harry Potter area first and then the tour, then the lower area (Transformers and Mummy). After that, you can head back up to the rest. Transformers and Mummy open at 11 in the winter months so we were able to get all of that done and be in the lower area really close to 11. We got right on the rides down there and were back up top for the shows by 11:45. It was a great day and we saw everything and rode all the rides with time to spare.
