As many have mentioned, paying extra so that you can go in an hour before the standard opening time is worth the current extra cost. Make the Harry Potter segment your priority. Even if rides frighten you or cause motion sickness, the HP ride is amazing. I think my eyes were closed at least half the time, and I still... More

It was pretty good but not near as good as the one in Florida. This one is much smaller. The best attraction for us was the Walking Dead attraction.

My partner and I visited Universal from Sydney, Australia and had a blast! We got front of line tickets and it was definitely the best decision, didn't have to wait in line for anything!!! (Except food and drinks) All the rides were fantastic and it was probably the highlight of our trip to Hollywood. Cant wait to visit again!

We got tickets specifically for the Harry Potter section. My kids are 4 & 7 and are midway through the books. We stopped at Honeydukes for chocolate frogs and flavoured beans. Then we grabbed some frozen butter beer and hit the two rides (my 4yo was too young for the main ride but there's a great child hand-off system). Of... More

We loved the Harry Potter part of the property, so fun! We had several butter beers, and used our wands to make store fronts transform! We got there right before 8, and rode the main Harry Potter ride two times in a row before the crowds got bad. The little roller coaster- the flight of the hippogriff is a bit... More

Most rides here were simulators which was disappointing but still a fun day out. It was quiet on the day we went (Monday) and we had no wait for most rides. Do the Universal Studios tour it was interesting, got to see some cool sets. (Bates motel was my favourite) Eat a giant lard lad donut from Simpsons land. (Because..... More

Universal Studios Hollywood is the first place I have visited in LA. It attracts me a lot due to good reputations. If you enjoy thrill rides and 3D experiences, this is the best $100+ place for you to visit. Almost every ride puts you in the middle of or reliving a scene from the original movie. I visited Universal Studios... More

The best attraction in LA easy. Worth every cent. Every show and event is well planned and entertaining. Great services and food also.

If you can buy the VIP pass or the second best- 'front in line' pass. It's the best ways to get thru all the major rides in a day. To the best of my knowledge there is no two day pass discounts. The VIP pass comes with buffet breakfast, lunch, tour guide first place in all rides til the park... More

It's difficult to give a simple rating to this place. If you're a child, particularly one brought up on Harry Potter books, it's probably 'Excellent' and if you're an adult it's closer to the 'Terrible' end of the range (unless you have an obsessive interest in popular culture). One thing you definitely need to know is that the queues are... More
