Booked the two day ticket with early access to Harry Potter on the first day. Took advice from here and went straight to the Forbidden Journey ride. Got to ride it three times in that first hour. It's awesome. Ride the Hippogriff Roller Coaster any time as it isn't busy and not that good in comparison. Is it packed dot... More

I was a little disappointed as it was a lovely day, but very expensive. We had a feeling that all it is just a huge commercial playground for all ages. It was ok, but would not do it again.

If you like Disneyland, then you will like Universal Studios. It's great for all ages. Rides and shows. A behind the scenes tram tour of the studio. Takes an entire day to see everything. And next to it is Universal City Walk which is an outdoor mall with mainly restaurants and also a large movie theater complex. A fun but... More

New Harry Potter section is out of this world! The town and rides are remarkable. The lines will be extremely long if you go during the weekend or during school vacation. Absolutely loved the transformers ride as well, great entertainment for people of all ages.

After an underwhelming day at Disneyland the previous day it was with some trepidation that we visited universal studios. It was a pleasant surprise to find universal so easy to move around with rides and attractions that appealed to our older sons. The rides aren't extreme but are so very well done with simulations and 4d that we had a... More

Been on the Universal tour at least a dozen times over 20+ years (hard not to go wjhen your friends from out of town come in and say "where should we go?")...always enjoyable and they keep updating it. Jurassic Park ride is terrific! Great stuff on the whole tour and great restaurants at CityWalk after your tour is done.

Worth every dollar! We got to go to every ride (more than once), we had guided walk through all the studio, walk around the sets, lunch in VIP lounge was simply great. All in all, great experience!

We had a great time introducing our sweet friend from Peru a little bit of LA. Universal Studios offers something for all ages. Great history and an insight to "movie making" was learned. Everyone should visit this wonderful park! Hogwarts was the best! The Harry Potter ride is better than any amusement park ride I have ever been on!

My wife and I took our 9 year old on a Tuesday during the USA school period . I think this is one of the important things to consider if it fits with your schedule. The other is the VIP experience , it is VERY VERY expensive, but in our opinion it's the best way to go . We drove... More

Loved Harry Potter World - just to see the smile on my Daughter's face was heartwarming. Bit busy - it was Christmas Vacation time. Butter beer tasted just how I imagined it would.
