When traveling, Antique shops are usually on the agenda. Solvang has 3 that were not really to our liking. A Starbucks employee in Buellton recommended The Depot in Los Alamos. It was 15 minutes north on Highway 101 and definitely an antique collector's happy place....More

Great antique place, lots of booths. However, they don't have a pub or food. They did however send us down the street to Charlie's restaurant which I highly recommend for tasty inexpensive food in a very relaxed setting.

All I can say is it opens up so many memories. There were things that reminded me of my youth and my grandparents. Old utensils we had when I was young or maybe a broach worn by my grandmother. So many things to see and...More

Searching for specific furniture items, I paid a long, tiring visit to The Depot Antique Mall, going through every inch of it. I did find one dining room set that was wonderful and a good price, but that's it. Too bad I don't need a...More

The Depot Antique Mall is an old wooden building, which believe used to be a train station / stop, still has a lot of the features from the bygone days, like large sliding doors to load / unload train cars. If you enjoy antique shopping...More
