This is a great activity on a warm day/evening. The area is well-kept and clean. Shoreline Village is close, and has food/shopping/ice cream. Parking is a bit on the expensive side, but worth the money.

Good views of the harbor, the Queen Mary, the town and the marina. Nicely paved. Grass in the Shoreline Aquatic Park is well maintained.

Rent at Wheel Fun Rentals (423 Shoreline Village Dr Long Beach, CA 90802) then ride the waterfront. It's an easy ride on a beautifully-maintained, paved bike path. Kids will love it if you get one of the three-wheel, side-by-side bikes and let the kids steer....More
