Flying Goat Cellars was a surprisingly great experience. One of the only wineries in the area that makes bubblies. We had the honor of tasing with one of the wine makers who was so passionate about what she does. She did an amazing job with explaining each of the wines in our tastings, what vineyard the grapes come from, and how the wine was made. She also made the experience fun for us. Thank you for a great experience.

Located in the Lompoc Wine ghetto, this eccentric place offering delicious California sparkling that are made fantastically. Their single Vineyard Pinot Noirs are also very nicely done, not overtly jammy that many California wines are these days.

Flying Goat great winery for Pinot and the only winery in the Lompoc Ghetto to serve Sparkling wines. If you have time in your day and a taste for great wines visit "The Goat".

Thank you. We offer 5 expressions of Goat Bubbles, all methode champenoise & made at our own faculty in Lompoc. Our vineyard designated Pinots are respected too.

Exceptional Pinots and a very friendly brown laborador retriever made for a memorable experience. The Santa Rosa Pinot was a particular stand out.

Thank you! Cooper enjoys playing with our guests as much as they enjoy him and our wines.

We stopped by this winery to taste their sparkling wines. It was late on Sunday and it was too late for them to open new bottles. This is understandable. I am only writing this review to give others a hint to stop by earlier in the weekend. I think they are only open Thursday through Sunday.

Kate very kindly scheduled an after-hours tasting to accommodate our schedule. The pinot gris we tried was a lovely, crisp summer white wine, but the focus of the tasting was on the cellar's pinot noirs, all of which we enjoyed. We purchased a bottle of Cacau's Cuvee that was delicious with our steak dinner.

We were told to go to Flying Goat to try the Champagne. The champagne was so bad that we did not stick around for the Pinots. Definitely much better places in the wine ghetto.

HermosaJ- You were not specific in your critique of our sparkling wine so I can only encourage you to please try them again. Our four expressions of Goat Bubbles, including Rosé, Crémant, Blanc de Blancs and Blanc de Noirs, are generally well received. Richard Jennings of RJonWine.com recently rated Clos Pepe Estate Pinot Noir Brut Rosé with a 91+ and it is exactly the same sparkling wine as Goat Bubbles Blanc de Noirs Clos Pepe Vineyard. The wine is handcrafted by Flying Goat Cellars Winemaker/Owner Norm Yost at our production facility in Lompoc and then bottled with two different labels and released with two different price points. RJonWine.com rated our Crémant with 89+. Our Pinot Noirs speak for themselves and we regret that you did not take the time to try them. Cheers, Kate
