Saw lots of birds this time, but one day the wind was pretty bad.

This park is a great place to walk, watch birds, fly a kite, or watch kite surfers. Not many shells, but lots of interesting rocks. People were catching surf perch this morning when I walked the beach. And I actually saw a loon sitting on the sand. Strong winds 2 days ago kept us in our RV and the tent... More

Took a short trip from Lompoc. Took about 30 minutes. Scenery was nice driving to and from. Ate at burger place. Good was pretty good and view was great. Took a walk on beach. Would recommend this place.

We were blessed with excellent weather when we drove from Lompoc out to Jalama Beach Park, Santa Barbara County. Were you to do nothing more than drive out and return, we found the drive alone would be worth it. The rolling hills were green and beautiful. THEN what's not-to-like about the Pacific Ocean and its beaches? Loved our visit. A... More

Went there to see Jalama Beach and have one of the famous Jalama beach cheese burgers. We were not disappointed. I must say that this was one of the best burgers we have ever had. Everything fresh and a great sauce. Order of fries was to much for two people. Don't miss!

This park is way off the grid. Well it's quite a trip to get to. It will be more than worth your time. You'll be so pleased when you get there the natives are very friendly. It'll cost you 10 bucks to get in. I can't think of anything really negative to say about the place except that there is... More

Jalama Beach County Park is part of the Santa Barbara County park system. 107 campsites, 31 with electrical. If you want to be on the sand they have sites without power. Lots of nice sites close or on the beach. We were up on the hillside with a tiny trailer hooked to the electric as it was cold at the... More

What a beautiful place! They have cabins , hookups for Recreational Vehicles and spots for tents. Showers and bathrooms and a great pace to get breakfast or a burger , Jalama restaurant. A great place to escape for the weekend , beaches are clean and beautiful! Prices are reasonable for camping . Cabins are a bit pricey ,but worth it!... More

This is a super nice county park. You can Tent or RV here. The spots are hard to come by when reserving because of its popularity. The beaches are super nice, there is tar on the beach so bring old sandals or shoes. Dogs are allowed on the beach. There are nice pay showers and toilets. There is a small... More

You really have to want to go there to get there; it is a long and twisty road of about 15 miles. Pretty trip, very little traffic, but definitely a hike to get there. Considering that our regular beach (Surf Beach) is almost always closed because of the bird, we just don't think about the beach anymore because it seems... More
