On a Saturday afternoon around 2:30 PM we pulled into the parking lot and could hear the party going on. At least that is what it sounded like. Just six people at on table tasing and consuming a bottle or two of their purchases. They soon departed, and our host, Kevin, could talk to us. Very nice young man who loves his job and what he does. I purchased a bottle for Thanksgiving, a Pinot Noir of the 2016 vintage. Also picked up a few gifts in the store. Stayed much longer than planned, enjoyed our time here. Thank You, Foley and Kevin. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Commercial wine tasting at it's best. Foley is part of Firestone is part of like 12 other winery chains. The wines aren't bad and the place is beautiful but the pinots are really over priced compared to what you can get in the area, The crowd this vineyard attracts isn't the very interesting either-- a lot of people who think they know a lot about wine. A little fake and posery. And I think the people who pour the wine are trained to pour to this type of clientele. That's what sells the wine not the wine. You are not getting what you pay for. Meh, next.

For 40-75 per bottle, you'd think the wine would be outstanding and unique but that's not the case right now. I had purchased a foley Pinot at a grocery store for $24 the week before and was more pleased with that bottle than the most expensive one on the tasting menu. Maybe there will be better vintages available next year. I'd spend the $10 on a tasting at a different place

The wines are amazing. Their Pinot Noir varieties that we had were all superb. Dave took great care of our group. We had the outside patio all to ourselves. Dog friendly place as well.

I like the wines, just to be clear, I remain a member of The Foley Family, and perhaps a bit biased.
On this visit, I was asking about wines that members usually do not get in our shipments. I was surprised to learn that we get a sample of all their production, nothing is held back. I believe that most wine clubs do not send their premium wines out and only encourage members to purchase. So this was a surprise, but in a way a disappointment. While the winery seemed to be busy to me, the staff assured me it was a somewhat slow time currently. Glad to have the personal attention, we tasted all that was open on this day. I also learned that points earned do not allow a bottle purchase entirely with points. I learned that merchandise was able to be purchased in full with those points. I ended up spending on olive oil, shirts and loads of gifts for friends. My loyalties to Foley have paid off.

Wine and service are good, with a beautiful view of the vineyards and mountains. Outside tasting is a wonderful chance to relax. Reservations are suggested. Picnics not allowed.

We stopped by on a quiet afternoon and had a fantastic time! We tried some really nice wine and really enjoyed ourselves! We loved learning about their wines and talking to the gentleman there pouring for us. The building and views were beautiful! Next time we travel to Sonoma, we will definitely return! It was our favorite Winery that we visited.

We just spent the weekend at the Foley Estates Vineyard and two nights at the Foley guest house. It was sn amazing weekend! We showed up at the tasting room Friday afternoon. They immediately gave us a tasting with alot of "not on the menu" wines while we waited for our host Tony Strong to come to the tasting room He immediately made sure we were being well taken care of as we finished up our tasting. He then escorted us to the house where waiting for us were two bottles of lovely wines he had picked out for us. The house is beautiful, with high ceilings, huge living room, kitchen and fireplace. The patio is great there is a big couch and two big seats with a coffee table facing the winery and Vinyard. The front has a very big yard with an even bigger duck pond. Luckily we had stopped at a store on our way in because once we got there we didn't want to leave and we didn't. We sat out on the patio most of the night drinking wine and eating while staring at the beautiful view and then the beautiful night sky. The night was just perfect no TV necessary even though there was one.
The next morning we had a private wine tasting hosted by Tony , followed by a tour of the winery with a very informative talk about the history of Foley and all the other vineyards owned by Foley. We then learned about the whole wine making process with a chance to taste strait out of the barrel afterwards which was amazing. We then returned to the winery for some revisits and bought some wines. I've been a fan of Foley since I first tried them in the late eighties and have been a club member for about ten years but this is the first time I had stayed overnight, it was perfect from the hospitality that was shown to us by everybody there at Foley, especially Tony, to the perfect accommodations. We had the best time the best wine and did not want to leave. Thank you everyone at Foley thank you Tony for a wonderful weekend!!

We did not realize that the Foley Family Estates and Vineyard was dog-friendly on our last trip to the Central Coast. It is! Jack and Winston had a great time visiting with the beautiful lady Golden who was already there, and intimidating a pair of Jack Russell's. Foley wine is great, the ambiance was great, the spring flowers were in bloom, despite the drought, and it was a fantastic way to begin our day of "cork-hopping" in the area.

I had been a club member but dropped as they had changed their offerings in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. But what they are tasting now, even the ones at a reasonable price are great. And the top of the line is fantastic. The majority of their product is from Santa Rita Hills which is famous for the two grapes. The tasting room was very friendly. I joined the wine club again. this is especially good now as the Foley holdings have been extended to a number of first class wineries in Santa Barbara, San Luis and the Napa area.
