Lodi Lake is the best place to learn how to Kayak! The rental fee is inexpensive and the water is perfectly calm so you don't have to worry about getting knocked over by waves. Highly recommend all first timers to go and try it.

I'm sure this lake is a gem, a treasure, and a beautiful well-maintained wilderness, as other reviews have stated. We happened to visit after a winter storm hit California, causing breaches in levies flooding. Hence, for water level control measures, the Lodi Lake was empty....More

I used to go here all the time when I was a kid, about 40-50 years ago. They had speedboat races on the 4th of July, always a thrill, although I understood the racers hated it because the lake was really too small for racing....More

My husband and I took a kayaking lesson last summer at Lodi Lake. Easy to park, rent a kayak and then paddle the lake and out to the Mokelumne River. It was quiet and serene on the river and lovely to quietly glide past the...More

Pleasing addition to any town, Lodi is lucky that the city has made the investment. Nice place for non-motorized boating, fishing, picnic lunch.

Four of us rented kayaks from headwater boathouse at Lodi Lake. These were top-quality kayaks and we had a lovely guy by the name of Abigail who was the manager of the organization. We went on a wildlife orientation of the area and spent two...More

There are a lot of activities around the lake as well as beautiful views it's fed by the Mokelumne River so it flows year-round. Definitely worth the visit

Yes Dogs are allowed on the park on leashes. Dogs are also allowed on rental kayaks and paddleboards if you rent from the boat house. The only area they are not allowed is the Wilderness Trail, to protect the wild life.
