Jessie's Grove is an old family winery in Lodi, CA. Fairly easy to get to with plenty of parking. The people were very nice and shared with us the history of the family farm. My husband enjoyed the barn and blacksmith shop. The wine is good, the winery is expansive with many places to explore.

Just an old laid back place to visit, have a taste of wine, see an historical farm and a location for many music celebrations. RVs stop and listen to music and have great wine and fun. You have to see the tortoise that is about 50 pounds and 2 feet across. He is a big old male that loves his... More

Jessie's Grove was our last stop of the day. Meeting Steve in the small and quaint tasting room was so fun. We learned about the history of the winery, the family who started the farm and the family that continues its legacy. Another gem in Lodi, it is another one to add to your list. The wines are lovely. I'm... More

Had been here in 2012 and one of the few we returned to (SO many others to visit!) It is a step back in time...not large and pretentious at all. The winery has a long history which is worth exploring. (Check out the books and pictures around the walls!) Steven was behind the counter and couldn't have been friendlier. For... More

First we are not wine connoisseurs by any means, we like what we like whether it is $10 or $100. This was our first trip to the Lodi region for wine tasting. We tried some of the bigger wineries, but found Jessie's Grove to be our favorite (However, there are over 75 more for us to try!) There is a... More

We met the owner and she recanted the history of her family. What a good story teller and delightful person. Staff is very courteous, the place true to its roots. This is not a fancy Napa winery, but a real working farm that also makes very good wines. Try the 75-25 Chardonnay and the house Zinfandel. The open lawn area... More

We visited during the Wine and Chocolate Festival. These people went all out for the event. It was really fun and a perfect stop in Lodi.

I visited here today based on a friend's recommendation It was such a lovely surprise. Nothing pretentious about this place. The buildings are old and the staff are friendly and reach out to make guests feel at home. I sat with Wanda, the family matriarch, for 2 hours and was engaged by her depiction of her family's history. She spent... More

My wife and I stopped in at Jessie's Grove Winery and really loved the place. They have great wines, I think they allowed us to taste 8 or so. They usually charge $5.00, but will knock that off if you buy any wine. We were fortunate enough to get to visit with Wanda, great grand daughter of the place's namesake.... More
