Forget the touristed wine regions and escape to Lodi! This tasting room is the place to start your visit. Ed was our host, knows his region, and is a delight. They taste 7 different wines each week. Zinfandel is the star in the crown of the region. However they are major grape producers of over 100 varietals. Small town, like... More

This is a nice facility, but it is a tasting room funded by the wine industry and therefore has only that information. We arrived for Labor Day weekend and they were remarkably in the dark about what was going on event wise. Obviously not their concern. We were on our own. As a wine tasting out of town tourist, I... We stopped by to take pictures out front of the wine barrels, we were only in the tasting room for less than 5 minutes.

This place represents the wine industry and is a great place to start wine tours in Lodi. I have not been to Napa Valley but have been told by locals Lodi has great wines and much more reasonable. Stop by and see for yourself.

We decided to stop here first to pick up a map and get recommendations for wine tasting. The staff member who helped us first asked us what we look for in our wine tasting trip (scenery? tours? food available? kind of wine we like?) and made recommendations accordingly. We followed the recommendations and we were not disappointed. Although there is... More

The Lodi Wine & Visitor Center is a great showplace for Lodi wines. It is located on the beautiful Wine & Roses property where you can have a very nice meal.

We are so glad we popped into here to get some information about the various wineries in the area. The staff member was really knowledgeable about wines and was helpful in guiding us to the right wineries which suited our individual palates. Not only that but she also grouped them as we didn’t have a lot of time in Lodi... More

Supposedly the place to start Lodi wine tasting. It turned out to be completely the opposite. Tone deaf unfriendly staff was a turn off. The tasting menu changes every week. Not every wine featured is from Lodi. Some wines were from other regions featured because they use grapes from Lodi. We passed up the opportunity as the prospect of spending... More

If you are not sure where to start in terms of winery/vineyards, this is a good place to start. You can wine taste some featured wines, get a map of the vineyards, get directions and suggestions.

On first visit to Lodi, I was unsure where to go. Stopped here when they opened and a lovely lady gave me a map and asked what kind of wineries I like. She then proceeded to make recommendation based on my interest. Thanks much for the help!
