Other reviewers' photos of the temple intrigued me. It's well worth the less than an hour it takes to walk around the temple. We asked to go inside and were instructed to leave our shoes in a special room in the administrative building. We were told people could wear socks if they wished. Photos are not allowed inside, but if... More

For years we were curious about the Shiva-Vishnu Temple. One evening we decided to visit. They are very accommodating to guests and simply ask that you leave your shoes in a cubby, and that you respect the worshipers who are there. It is beautifully designed and very peaceful. A nice cultural difference in Livermore.

One of the best maintained temples in Bay area. Peaceful location, nice architecture, and great place to visit for worshippers. Many priests chanting Vedic hymns give a great spiritual environment. Weekends are busy with hundreds of visitors. Well designed temple with dining and music halls.

We went there by evening & darkness was there. We went inside the temple where we could see Lord venkateshwara, shiva, vigneshwara, anjaneya& ayyappa in one place. It was getting cold & we spent around 1 1/2 hours there. We had prasadam served free. Ok for one time visit.

I was searching for a Shiva temple to go to in San Francisco and stumbled upon this temple. The structure of the temple looked good and hence proceeded to the place though it was an hour's drive from SF. I was impressed by the magnificent structure put up by the managing team of the temple. When I went inside the... More
