The staff here is great! Knowledgeable, friendly and there always seem to be someone around. A special shout out to Kip. It seemed like nothing was going right fir us (motor home rental fell through) but at least we could have a family campfire. We had no matches or kindling. Kip came through with a lighter, kindling and newspaper and saved our entire evening. He went above and beyond. Camp spot was clean and prepared, rest rooms were clean and tended often.

I don't mind paying a Reservation Fee online, I don't mind mailing in a Reservation Fee. But, to pay an 8 dollar reservation fee at the kiosk while paying cash? Really? One night camping in the cheapest spot came to 48 dollars. Completely overrated and overpriced. Noisy too. Airplanes flew overhead all day. We won't be back to Lake Jennings. But, it is very clean, good views of the Lake if you pay for a View site. I guess it's okay for families with kids since there's a very nice playground. Oh, and if you want to fish, there's a ten dollar fishing fee.

This is our fifth time tent camping here, we’ve been to 20,22,24,45,43 sites. 20 has a nice view with big rocks, 24 has a few small trees, 45 was really bad no shade and uneven terrain, 43 we had a rattle snake visit us. Stay away from 43 and 45 where there’s a lot of cactus probably a den of rattle snakes. Showers free, flush toilets. Very expensive for a night around $39 a night. And you need to book Friday if you want weekends. $4 for a 2nd car.$1 a day for pets, $6.50 wood, $3-4 ice. Cayotes nearby, you need a California fishing license and a $9 permit to fish in the lake, they sell some fishing hooks and stuff in the bait shop and front entrance of the campground. A lot of loud campers here but the rangers visits twice at night. If you want a short drive from home it’s okay. If you want extra 10-15min drive go to mt. Laguna burnt rancherias.

We were camping and there is a lot of traffic noise as well as jets going over at night - we slept badly as a result. We also had some loser with a monster RV arrive at 11pm and keep us awake setting up. There should be some kind of curfew at least. Nobody cares about the quiet rule
