Located on the Festival of Arts grounds is one of the most unique theatrical productions in the world, the Pageant of the Masters. Watch real people be magically transformed into life-sized re-creations of famous works of art. A live narrator guides you through the story of each living picture accompanied by a full orchestra. Shows are nightly. There is nothing like it anywhere... only in Laguna Beach.

This is simply a magical experience. The artist are cutting edge and true masters. Lots of variety. The musical entertainment is superior. We heard a Brazilian jazz singer and ensemble. Beyond fun. Experienced picnickers brought lovely picnic food—-salads and fresh fruit and lovely wines galore....More

Program was fantastic. Unfortunately, 5 women (30 ish) behind us were talking loud, cat calling and fingers in mouth dog whistling during event. It truly hurt our ears. I guess they thought the event was a stripper "Thunder Down Under" show. I think they were...More

Must see to appreciate the amazing life art and story. Music prior with beautiful art work that is not in every ones price range. The fake grass they add approx 2 years ago took away a little of the beauty of the grounds. Music prior...More

25 years ago, you would still have had trouble getting a ticket for this summer event. Now with an entirely new layout and overhaul of the grounds, with better food, faster service, tables to sit down and enjoy, music too, do you think it is...More

This year the Pagent focuses on the history of the Pagent. It was very interesting to learn about how it got started, while also seeing the beautiful art we are accustomed to seeing at the Pagent of the Masters. We took the free Laguna Beach...More

I write this review with an admitted bias. My mother, June, began as Don Williamson’s assistant and eventually became Casting Director. Myself and 3 siblings were cast in the show from 1968 and on for many years. My memories are priceless. I attended the Pageant...More

Well, maybe not for the very young as it is quite long. All depends on the maturity and behavior of the child.

Hi, we're looking to make a day of it when we come to see the show (not planning to stay overnight). I would love any and all tips about doing that. Where would you recommend we park all day and into the night? Are the shuttles easy to catch or crowded to where we could be late if we don't catch one 2 hours before the show? Is it easy to do Sawdust and Art-A-Fair on the same day in addition to seeing the Pageant? Does the shuttle stop at all of these places? Is there a deal you can tell me about for seeing all or some of these things? How much are the seat cushion rentals? Are the rental binoculars good or am I better off bringing my own? Best seats in your opinion? Loge center appears to be sold out every night at this point. Is it better to sit up closer like Loge side or further back but in the middle? Thank you in advance for your thoughtful and informative tips!
